J+S Premium Military Style Classic Square Aviator Sunglasses, Polarized, 100% UV protection for Men Women

I'm a repeat buyer of the J+S Premium Military Style Classic Square Aviator Sunglasses, and I couldn't be happier. The quality is consistently excellent, especially for the price. The polarized lenses provide clear vision and excellent 100% UV protection, which is essential. The classic square aviator design is timeless and looks great on both men and women. These sunglasses are durable, comfortable, and a fantastic value. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for stylish and reliable eye protection.

I don’t wear the standard aviators very well, but the square-framed ones seem to look pretty good on me. I was happy to have found a cheaper pair on here. What I like most about these is how they fit. Snug, but not too tight. I went zip lining up in the mountains while wearing these, and they stayed very securely on my face the entire time. Wearing them while driving through Colorado was nice as well, as these are also pretty comfortable to wear for longer durations. I got the blue lenses, as that’s definitely my color. They look pretty much just like the photo. Very clean and sharp. I think girls and guys could both pull these off well. As an added bonus, these came in a halfway decent case, with a microfiber cloth. Pretty standard, but it’s nice to have those things. Because these are cheaper, they’ll probably last me forever, as that’s how it usually goes. If I ever need another pair, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. Would probably go with the black however.

These are not "premium" sunglasses. Overall fair quality and polarized design for the price. Lightweight and frame fit well. I would have liked them to be darker to block out more sunlight and the silver mirror finish more reflective like on my old sunglasses (a different brand) that are scratched. However, the sunglasses I received caused noticeable blurriness for distance vision from the left lens. On closer inspection while holding them up to bright light and turning them around in different positions, I could see the left lens was warped. That defect caused blurry vision. I returned them.

I've owned more expensive brands with prescription lenses in the past (e.g. Maui Jim, Ray-Ban), but have shifted to contacts and cheaper sunglasses for occasions when I am spending a great deal of time outside. I was looking for a replacement pair online through a quick search (terms: "best cheap polarized sunglasses") and came across a Wirecutter.com article that mentioned and recommended these. The reviews here are positive and based on my initial experience and thoughts, they are spot on. While the frame is lightweight, it still feels sturdy. The lenses (gray) are neither too dark nor too light, they are very comfortable to wear, and they look great. The inclusion of a lens cloth and nice, sturdy case is a bonus and contributes to the overall value of this pair of sunglasses. Add the fact that these are polarized lenses and it's an easy decision to make the purchase. I'm surprised, impressed, and very pleased with the product. The price is so favorable that buying another pair as a backup or one for your car, backpack, etc. is easy, especially if you sign up for the fan club to receive an additional 20% off.

These glasses aren't to my liking as they are perfectly flat. There is zero facial contouring which leads to almost 2" spacing at the sides. The sun just blinds you from your peripheral and creates a horrible reflective glare on the inside of the lens. My son has a shorter nose bridge and so there is less gapping. The frames are very lights, and the hinges have a good stiffness to them. These lenses are very dark as well. My dislikes are preferential and I'm sure many would not be bothered by them. Overall the product is good enough.

These are great aviators for the price. They look classic and don't have oversized / outlandish proportions like some other aviators. The polarization was iphone friendly (I could see my iphone and macbook screen perfectly fine while wearing these). They were comfortable to wear, didn't slide off my face easily, and had a good level of tint without being too dark when walking in to the house from outside. My only complaint is that they are pretty light and I can't easily just stash them up on my hat, but I wind up just hanging them on my shirt collar when I need to take them off and since they are so lightweight, they don't pull hard on my collar and stretch out my tshirts. I eventually lost my first pair and liked them enough to replace with the same thing. In the time I had my first pair, I had no issues with scratching or any issue with the lenses. The protective case and cleaning cloth was a nice addition and I used the case in my messenger bag when traveling.

It took me 30+ years to find a pair of sunglasses that fit my dumb head well. The Ray Ban Caravan style (that this model is designed around) is a little more squared but they retain the classic aviator style. My actual Caravans are kept in a case in my car but I picked up two of these as backups or knock arounds that I can keep in the house or in our family car. They are very high quality; with durable hinges, thick metal and decent polarized lenses. The included fabric zippered case comes with a clip and a cleaning cloth which made the already reasonable price even nicer. Overall, these are knock offs so do not expect Ray Ban level quality visually, but for what they are they are great. I definely recommend them. I bought two of these squared style glasses, each with different colored lenses so I can mix it up.
