Erno Laszlo Shake-It Tinted Skincare Treatment, Deep Face Tint for Deeper Complexions, Beautiful Skin Tone, Controls Oil, Natural Matte Finish (3 Fl Oz)

If you think this is a liquid foundation, you are sadly mistaken. And you will be very disappointed. If you understand what this is and you need it, it will be liquid gold to you. I have ginormous pores on my nose, parts of my cheeks and some pitted acne scarring on my cheeks. This is a tinted skin treatment that is matte finish like Powder. My pores are so big that I cannot use traditional foundation. It will poolin the pores. Or maximize the larger us of the pores and it just never works or looks right. This “shake it “ on the other hand, fills in the look of my pores and with a light coating of powder over top, my pores look like they have disappeared. This also is supposed to help control the oil that causes enlarged pores. Because my skin is so oily I do have to touch up with powder midday, but the effect still looks the same. It is like magic on my skin when nothing else will work. After I do my skincare and my sunscreen, I use it as a last step of my skin care and I swipe it on and dab it To even it out. Once it dries to a powdered finish, then I simply blend it out with a brush and add powder over top. I’m able to use a concealer on the parts of my face that needed it and/or my Alima pure satin powder foundation. But I never use anything but this and a translucent powder on my nose. It is enough to take down the redness and it looks like a make up finish, but it also does not look or like I obviously have make up on. I do not suggest this to be used in areas of your skin that are prone to dryness, but use it in areas where you are oily and acne prone and you will be amazed at the finish of your skin! I will not live without this anymore, I always have a bottle as a back up before I run out of my current bottle. I asked for it for every birthday and every holiday. It is my holy Grail. if you are a girl With large pores like me and cannot wear traditional make up without it looking ridiculous. You need this in your life. I am obsessed with erno Laszlo. I cannot live without this stuff. I am 40 years old and I have big pores but using erno Laszlo makes my pores unnoticeable. I no longer use Foundation or powder. It's pricey but worth every penny. I will continue to order erno Laszlo!! Highly recommend!

The color was off. Go to a store that sells this and get the right shade. I liked it but couldn’t wear bc of the color. You can’t return it.

Used this in grad school when I lived in a very humid climate, it helped control oil when nothing else could. Now I’m back years later (not sure why I strayed), because nothing else makes my skin look this natural and perfect. My skin looks smooth, flawless and real.

Everyone was raving about this product on social media and talking about how it was a mainstay in their beauty routine for years. I felt like it was very drying to my skin. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if the product just contains too much powder/mattifying liquid. They say it as a product that serves as make up base and foundation, but I find it to really only serve as a base. It doesn’t have the coverage that I would like and and as stated above I found it to be drying overall.

Yes, it's pricey. Yes, it's great if you have oily skin with large pores like I do. Dab it on with a cotton puff, let it dry, and it will be streaky. Hold up a magnifying mirror to see what you're doing and use a dry puff, dry sponge, or dry foundation brush to buff out the streaks. I stay matte and non-shiny almost all day even in humid weather. Nothing works better for my oily skin! Here is before and after with no powder on tope, only foundation. Notice the pore improvement!

Used this years ago...glad to see it back! You do not need a cotton ball. Just shake it and tip the bottle to put some on your fingertips then spread it over your face. Nothing else works as well to control oil. This product is part of the old skin care routine for those Laszlo clients who were in the old 11:30 range. Not for dry skin - great for T-zone!

It provides a nice, sheer, matte finish that minimizes pores and gives a good foundation for any makeup you wish to put on top of it. I used it the first time over 35 years ago. The product size has been greatly reduced from the original size, but otherwise it's the same...nothing else like it.
