Beauty Bar, Daily Silk 4 oz, 12 Bar, (Pack of 2)

This is the caress I love I've been using caress soap since they came out either late seventies or early '80s I want to say late 70s it it smells so good and leaves my skin soft and look I make soap okay I know how to make soap but caress has always been a good soap for my skin for some reason it just works for me if it works for you then get it at Amazon because Walmart don't carry it Walgreens don't carry this brand they have a different one and I don't like the scent of it it it's I don't know what the scent is but the original sent is what I like I have been using this for a very very long time and when I started seeing it not being on the shelves I was wondering what was going on so I was able to get it it took awhile to get it but look it was worth the wait and soon as I open up the box that that Aroma hit my nose and I knew this was it I know that things change over time ingredients change over time I get it you you're in the business to make money I get that but if you going to switch up the you know the recipe let let people know I mean don't don't try and trick us to make us think oh you getting the same thing no it's different and but like I said I have been a loyal customer since the late seventies early '80s and you know when you have been a loyal customer and you gone through a whole bunch of other different brands of soap and things like that you know what you like and you know what you have you have a good relationship with when it comes to Cosmetics stuff that you put on your body and caress was the number one pick for me over dove and I have used every kind of soap you can think of but Chris gives me that luxurious feel that that Aroma that it has never been matched by any other soap I've used so that's why I really like caress caressa has been around for a long time tried and true y'all. Have used this brand of soap for 30 years. They have changed the scent slightly but the soap still feels the same moisturizing, leaving my skin soft and smelling good.

This is the best soap ever!!! ( shine bright like a diamond :) Great product & price for amount. I've looked in different stores trying to locate whats left ... to no avail. I am so thankful for the seller forwhich this product was purchased.

Hello Amazon for me was the only option to get the “Original Caress bar soap” !!! It’s hard to fine in your local grocery store… Sure u pay more for it but it’s worth it…. Why can’t manufacture’s leave things alone ? 5 STARS Amazon…. Sincerely M. Harmon

Not what I ordered. I've been using Caress soap for decades (I'm 62). It always left my skin feeling moisturized and clean. I had seen some bad reviews about the new and improved Caress soap. So I looked for the original I usually buy and found this product. Same name and packaging as the one I just ran out of. What was delivered was NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Instead, I received a bright pink box instead of the peach colored box I was use to. Well, I thought, maybe they just changed the color of the box since the label had the same soap scent shown. So I just tried it. It is NOT THE SAME. Here's what is bad about this "new" soap: 1) Hardly any lather to it at all. Spent about two minutes trying to get it to lather because it was a new bar and sometimes takes a while for new bars to lather up. 2) Not moisturizing at all. Old soap left my skin feeling so soft that when you rub your hand across it, it would glide with ease. This new soap leaves a dry, filmy texture on my skin. When I rubbed my hand across it, it was sticky and would hardly move across the skin. 3) The scent is overpowering. It is too strong and lingering for my taste. They basically took all the good things I loved about their soap and changed it for the worse. And they increased the price as well. Not worth the money in my opinion. Now I have to find a new soap when the one I was using was perfect and hard to find in the first place. Wish me luck.

I really hated to pay this amount for bar soap however if you are familiar with Caress they changed the Daily Silk formula to include new packaging. The new unit states it is updated or similar wording but the scent of the improved product is not the same as the previous product. I had to ensure that it simply was not my only opinion that the scent had changed. So once my family also confirmed it, I will now conclude that Caress has went with a different formula in producing the Daily Silk bar soap. Long story short, I found a vendor that still had the original product so I purchased 24 bars as I realize that this may be the last of the original Daily Silk bar soap.

I will never order this again because the price was not indicative of the value I knew in the 80’s. The scent surely wasn’t the same. And some boxes of soap we open.

Have always liked Caress soap. Nice scent.
