Ordered this for replacing wood quarter round with PVC quarter round. It works great. My hands aren’t as strong as they used to be but these shears cut through the quarter round with ease. Accurate cuts, well made tool and cut down on time spent on project. It’s a great value. Word of caution… the blades are sharp! Always close and lock the shears once the desired cut has been made. Do not leave the blade open. I learned the hard way, even a small brush up against an unguarded blade will cut your hand.

Great for my purpose!
I'm a crafter and needed some heavy duty snips for cutting through wooden rods and stuff scissors can't cut. They are great for cutting through thicker things like that like butter! I did notice the miter bed is a bit uneven so that may cause someone some problems if they need it flat but otherwise very nice heavy duty tool!

Pretty good tool and saves tons of time!
Pretty good tool and very clever what they innovated here. Was able to make a few creative angles the tool was not designed for too…. Saved a ton of time!!!Don’t expect perfect cuts as there is room for slop, but nothing a little caulk won’t fix.Biggest complaint is that the blades should be easier to replace. Were good for about 20 cuts of 7/8” pine quarter round.…. A bear to change out. Not like a box cutter…. Must holt job for 10 minutes or so. Needed a vice to get the pin in and out.Would still buy again and recommend.

Great to keep upstairs
This is a huge time saver when you have to make loads of small cuts to shoe moulding. The cuts are very crisp too. I was surprised!

I’d been struggling to get good cuts on thin wood - and this does it easily! So glad I bought it. Improves the quality of my work and saves me time and scrap! Quality product!

Almost a perfect product
Outstanding product!The only thing, and it's really minor, you just need to be aware of is that it tends to cut unevenly. Hope you can see it from the picture. It's really not an issue. If it is an issue for any reason, you just have to sand it down evenly. Of course this may not be an issue if you aren't using it for the purpose I am which is building doll houses.The other GREAT thing about it is you get TWO extra blades with it. I find it hard to believe that under normal conditions I will ever need any more blades and if I ever do, I will be sure to buy this again.And last but not least, it's made in the USA!

Works great with PVC but, not wood
The Shears made the project quick and easy but, when I used wood trim instead of PVC the shears left a rough edge and it split the wood.

Very good. Sharp, clean cut.I have a very strong grip but I was trying to cut 20mm beading and wider than the blade so had to cut from two directions.As I had over 50 cuts to do I ended up using a mitre box.However don't be put off by my comment as I do recommend them if you are only cutting 20 or less.Value for money yes. Don't go for a cheaper model or make
