Added to an existing plastic mailbox; works well
The previous flag on this inherited mailbox was gone. I used some of the holes from the previous flag to install this new one. I had to drill a couple more. Because of the positioning, it's a little on the short side. But it gets the job done. The mail carrier has no problem seeing that the flag us up.And it stays in place even when it's windy with its slotted design. Good value for the price. It's near the ocean so time will tell if rust will be a factor or not.

Mail box flag
Easy to install. Worked perfectly for my mailbox. I like that it is metal and believe it will withstand the weather better than plastic. Product arrived quickly and was just as described.

Loose Hinge
I agree with the reviews on sturdiness and the other positive comments. However the flag sits extremely loose in the bracket - nothing to hold it open.I am going to try simply tightening the bolt so there is a little friction to see if that will keep it open on windy days.
