Very convenient system
This is the VERY BEST option I have found for Ford f150 's since the aluminum body rules out magnetic systems and I don't drill holes in my vehicles. I got perfect SWR's and zero problems along with a one minute install.

Works as a mount, and that's about it.
Can you mount an antenna to it? Sure. But that's where it's usability stops. Tried it on my 2021 F-150.First, it's totally coated. If you want it to work, you need metal on metal to make a proper connection to the ground plane (the truck) and on the antenna stud. So I ground off the coating on the bracket and the paint on the bed area where tailgate catch is bolted on. Yes, this breaks Ford's recommendation for galvanic corrosion, but that was a secondary problem for me. My SWR is about 3.5 across the band.So I checked for continuity between the bed and the frame. Open Loop. The bed is totally isolated from the frame and the cab. The bed would become the ground plane in the system, it is not a part of the chassis ground, and mounting it in the far corner is the worst spot on any ground plane. Just adding a jumper wire between the frame and the bed isn't enough because we're talking about ground plane, not just chassis ground (although a chassis ground is part of the requirement for a mobile installation; too technical to put in a review). An antenna needs a good, properly sized and located ground plane that is also chassis ground. Simply using this bracket on the bed in the far corner does not meet the requirements for a proper ground plane.So now I can't return it because I removed the coating. Lesson learned. Now to find a mount that works both electrically AND mechanically on a non-ferrous truck. Or a good NGP antenna system.

This antenna bracket will also work on a 2022 Ford Maverick
The description only mentions that this bracket will work on Ford F-150’s. I purchased one and it fits on a 2022 Ford Maverick as well.

hole for antenna was too big. otherwise it was great,I had to get a different antenna base to get the mount to work
