They are not Airtight, you can smell the product in the can.
After putting product in the can you can still smell the product inside the can, I decided to test them putting in liquid, the liquid leaked out of the bottom where it attaches to can, so buyer beware they are not smell proof or leak proof. I would not count on them for storage if you would want to keep anything and keep it fresh.

I was surprised at how well they seal.
Quite good. They sealed better than I expected. While it wasn't quite water tight, it was exactly what I needed to make a bunch of emergency fire starting cans. 10/10 gonna buy more to give away at christmas.
