I bought Cetaphil Exfoliating Face Wash, Extra Gentle Daily Face Scrub, and it’s been a solid everyday cleanser for me. The texture is gentle—more of a soft polish than a harsh scrub—so I can use it daily without redness or irritation. It does a good job of removing sunscreen and light makeup, and my skin feels clean and smooth afterward, not tight or stripped. I use this about one or two times a week in the evenings to help exfoliate my face. I have rosacea so I cannot use it everyday. It also smells good.

I tried this cleanser because I wanted something exfoliating but still gentle enough for regular use. The exfoliating particles are extremely fine, and the overall feel is much milder than typical scrubs. It cleans effectively without leaving my skin feeling tight or dry, which is something I appreciate with Cetaphil products in general. The formula feels better suited for light exfoliation rather than deep polishing, and it works well as part of a simple daily routine. That said, if you’re using consistently with Tretinoin, you could feel some burning sensation but it is the effect of the Tretinoin.

I am in love with Cetaphil products. This exfoliating wash has a nice texture- not too gritty but I can tell it really does a good job cleansing my skin.

As we get older one has to be really careful what they use on their face to get rid of the dead skin, etc. This works great and does not over do it leaving the face feeling great. Not parched! I use it every other day and follow up with a great moisturizer after I have washed it all a away.
