Not a bad story, a little naive sometimes. Overall I enjoyed reading but I think it’s more suiting and exciting for younger people (I’m 40). Otherwise light time pass.

I love the book. Had an amazing time reading it. The novel is light and full of cute romantic moments. There were intense and conflict moments just for like 8 to 9 pages. I love that this is a light novel with more happy moments. I am definitely going to try other books in this series.💜💜💜

She works for a program that matches seizure assist dogs to children and people with epilepsy. A dad isn’t so thrilled to have been suckered by his daughter to meet her.

I have to say this has been one of my favourite reads so far this June! This book revolves around Evie, this lovable character works for Southern Service Paws training service dogs and matching them with owners who need them, when one day this role puts her standing in front of single dad Jake and his epileptic daughter Sam. Jake is reluctant to let Evie into their lives for many reasons, he’s worried about getting Sam a service dog, and worried for himself because Evie could be all too easy to fall for. Each character has an unfortunate past, Evie struggles to live under her parents thumb, whereas Jake still has a lot of resentment towards Sam’s mum for abandoning their family, but together it seems at though they can make each other whole again and really truly become a family. I loved this book, the writing was fantastic, the characters were relatable and the plot was just great. I liked that Evie gave us an insight into what it was like to be an epileptic person living alone, and what the world is like for those with service animals. All together a great book from Sarah Adams. I mean, who doesn’t love a book about a cute dog? 🐶

Cuteness overload I didn't expect to cry reading hallmarkish book but l did, Jo and Evie stole my tears. Nothing hurt more than feeling unloved by your own parents. Oof glad that changed kinda!!
