Works great
I use this to aerate a small pond and am very pleased with how well it’s working. After the latest snowfall I was a bit tardy in clearing off the solar panel and was pleasantly surprised to find it still reliably bubbling away with only about a quarter of the panel exposed to the sun. Super easy to set up too.

They work great so far.
The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly. Love that it has different strength bubbles. I liked the first one so much I bought a second one for my pond.

Seems to work well with a sponge filter. Might not need to install power and just use this.
This works well. It is used intermittently and I am using it with a basic sponge filter. Water cleared up. Also was bought to use as a backup in case of power outages

Works great in stock tanks
I have goldfish in my cattle stock tanks to eat mosquito larvae. I like to keep the water aerated to keep the fish healthy. This unit has done a great job for almost a year so far. It’s made better than I expected. Easy installation.

Worked great, until it didn't
This pump was working great I had it set up in an old clawfoot tub that i've turned into a water feature with plants and fish. I only used it for about 6 weeks and all of a sudden it stopped working. The solar panel itself gets full sun and the air pump part is under cover and protected so I'm not sure what went wrong. Super disappointing hopefully the seller sends me a new one as I was really hopeful with this pump.

Problematic for outdoor pond.
I use this to help aerate a medium-small outdoor pond within a small, slow-flowing stream. The included air stones, which ordinarily create fine bubbles with lots of surface area for oxygenation, DO NOT work in outdoor ponds. They're designed for very clean (e.g., aquarium) water and no algae. Unless the water is very clean all the time, they clog within a day or so. The only fix I know (short of fish that eat all the algae) is not to use the air stones at all. I use the plastic tubing alone, with one or more "T" connectors to create more tubing openings, then weigh them down with some sort of weight so that they sink rather than float. It's a kluge, but it works to a point, and lasts months before clogging. The solar panel is plenty large, but the air pump isn't strong enough to produce lots of bubbles (regardless of the product description). It creates a slow stream of bubbles which may of may not be doing any good. I've had three of these, in various configurations, mostly because they're inexpensive and they tend to last until a storm destroys them. A much more powerful (and expensive) system is probably the way to go if you have a medium-sized outdoor pond.

Solar tank aerator
So far I am thrilled with this purchase. I have a 150 gallon stock tank which I am setting up for a few Koi. I only just set it up, but working great. I did place the solar panel in full sun for a day prior to hooking up the system. I also soaked the air stone for 24 hours in filtered water prior to connecting- in current spot it gets around 6 hours full sun/day. Also important to have pump at same level or above air stone. I am only using one stone and have it set on mode 2 blue for soft bubbles . All the levels work great, but I don’t think I need strong bubbles like mode 1 produces. The pump is quiet. I hope it continues to meet (& exceed) my expectations. ** Photo taken at night but shows set up.

Does what I need it to do.
Does what I need. Provides a bit of aeration for my small outdoor water garden that's not near any outlet.
