14 year old Siamese complete turn around in a week.
Our 14 year old Siamese cat Hero has been backwards and forwards to the vet over the last few months. He has been constipated, his food was mostly undigested, and he was sick multiple times a day. He had lost over 1kilo in weight. The vet suggested after blood tests that it could be a food allergy or possibly cancer but that at his age treatment was similar. He had a steroid injection and we were given some hypoallergenic food.Hero is fussy, and suspicious of anything new but after a few cautious sniffs he was sold.I worry about him eating biscuits as because of his age he doesn’t have many teeth left but these are small like rice crispies. He grazes on them all day. His coat is starting to feel better and his behaviour is getting better. Less crying and more settled. After 1 week his poo looks something like and he hasn’t been sick which is more than I could have hoped for.I give him a small amount of fresh chicken in the evening and he seems to be ok on that.I’m delighted. I would definitely recommend.

Good for constipated cat.
Originally bought to try for a constipated cat. It worked! Quite expensive, but not necessary as sole food so can last a long time especially if mixed with wet food. Cats seem to like the taste, also mixed with other dried food. How do you know if your cat is constipated? I knew because my cats rush in from the garden to use their litter tray.

A lifesaver (quite literally)
Jenson, my thirteen year old cat, has suffered from IBS and constipation for a good portion of his life. Repeated vet treatments were breaking the bank until my vet recommended trying this food as part of a management plan.We noticed an improvement in a matter of days. Jenson's litter tray offerings went from now and then to regular, and were well formed without being hard. We feed this alongside a raw diet to add some bulk and fibre, and he loves the way it tastes.Pros:* Small kibble is easy to eat, even if teeth are missing.* Bags of 1kg and over are re-sealable, helping to keep it fresh for longer.* A 1kg bag should last a 5kg cat about twenty days if it's all they are fed. Longer if this is used as a supplement.Cons* The ingredient list is far from "all natural", being specially formulated.* As with most Royal Canin food the price is a bit steep, especially for a multicat household!
