This knife is really unique in the color, blade shape and flipper functionality! I like everything about it and it seems it was made well for EDC.I actually dropped it after 5 hours of owning it, and it landed directly on the tip from 3-4 feet on hardwood. I bent the tip a little, but it's still super sharp and fixable with some TLC. And when I say bent... it's very minor. You would have to be looking for it. I'm actually glad that it's a little flexible to bend a tad and not totally snap from a hard fall... Exactly what I wanted in an EDC . It did break my heart a little though because this knife has memorizing beauty! It is razor sharp out of the box. The blade is very large, thin and sharp. The lock mechanism functionality is really cool too...

Best Civivi action, and they all run (in my limited experience) smooth and fast on those caged bearing. Drops shut. Weight of bigger blade may be strong factor. In any case, feels just right in hand. Instantly fell for it (arrived just over an hour ago). Just feels good and right, satisfying, to open and close, and I just knew it was a super well made knife. No surprise I'm still a huge Civivi fan after this one (the fifth in my collection). Even more so now. Very excited too carry and use. Dig the deep carry pocket clip. That's all then.

This is the best knife I have ever put in my pocket. It’s my new edc and so awesome I have already bought a second one. First one was the black G10 and now the upgrade to the premium Ultem handle. The nitro V steel is perfect for edc in my opinion and come arm hair and face shaving sharp from the factory. The overall packaging from Civivi is top tier, and next to none. You get a nice case and cloth and even a sticker! This knife was originally designed to live in a kitchen or on a person who eats and prepares food. You can chop on a wood board without hitting your knuckles and all the holes will let it dry and drip any juices from what you are cutting or after a quick rinse. I can’t imagine replacing this with anything else and hope this knife stays in production for a good long time.

Like all my Civivi knives it arrived sharp and ready to use. I moved the clip to the left side scale and added a lanyard for ease of pocket draw. It has a full four finger grip on semi-coarse scales with a huge choil in the blade for a more forward grip. I think Civivi should have added jimping to the blades spine! The thumb studs are located perfect for thumb or middle finger flipping. This knife will become a long time user in my weekly rotation.

Above average edge retention, easy to sharpen & touch up, good action, strong lock, good slicing geometry. I've used it for cutting meat, vegetable, fruit, kimbap rolls, rope, fishing line, cardboard, plastic & stripping wire. It performed well in all tasks. My only complaint is the gap in the scales that allows blood or other liquids to get between scales & handle. I'm looking into adding a liner to fill the gap.

I’ve had this knife for several months and absolutely love it. It’s one of my most carried knives. The super lock works really well and it’s a super fidgety knife. The G10 scales feel really good in the hand and the ergos are perfect. It has really good weight to it as well. If you’re on the fence about this knife just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

I usually only buy American made knives but Civivi is making some well designed, great looking folders with excellent reviews so I decided I'd try one. It lives up to the positive reviews! Beautifully made, unique fun fidgety opening and closing mechanism that locks open very securely. It's as sharp, maybe sharper out of the box as any knife I've ever purchased. This won't be the last Civivi I buy.

You should know this knife is a razor out the box... and the lock is super fun to fidget with.... has good feel in hand. Love the shape and scales. Has a good heft to it suggests a ridgid build. Overall one of my favorite knifes in the collection
