Why did you pick this product vs others?: I did some research and this product was highly rated, and also was the only one that had additives for the brain. Strength: As long as you don't breath the powder in before you mix it this is a mild slightly salty watermelon flavor. Value for money: Although it is a bit expensive it makes something like 30 glasses full mixed. It's still cheaper and better than bottled hydration drinks. Effectiveness: This works for me if I am going to be out in the hot sun sweating and exerting myself. I was getting light headed and dehydrated even tough I was drinking a lot of water. Since using this I am not getting dehydrated and exhausted. Mixability: It mixes fairly readily with water. Quality: This seems to be a high quality electrolyte mix, and it works very well for me. Ease of use: Just mix a spoonful in a glass of water (or water bottle), mix it up for a minute or so and it's ready to drink.

I bought the unflavored version, and liked it. You definitely taste the high mineral content, so drinking it straight gets old. I found that if I add about 1/2 teaspoon of raw honey, that covers the mineral taste up and makes the drink perfectly palatable. If your goal is to have a zero sugar, zero calorie drink, then obviously this approach is not useful. I use Mini-Dew as my workout drink though, drinking a liter while working out and another liter while in the sauna afterwards, so I do not mind a little sugar.

The container is far smaller than expected for the price. Be sure to check the oz. before you buy. It tasted awful in any case--like drinking ground up baby aspirin. I tried to get through it but after three tries, I threw out the entire container.

I swear by this. I use these electrolytes daily and I can tell a difference almost immediately after I drink them. Super easy to use, the taste is subtle, and it lasts a while for the price.

Honestly, I have no doubt that this is a good product, but the taste of it... meh. I didn't quite gag, but I just couldn't get used to it. I've kept it in my kitchen, in case I think of a way to offset the taste. The contents and health benefits - per the packaging - seem excellent, and definitely something to include in my health routines. It's just the taste that makes this daunting. I'll update this review later if I find a way to disguise the flavor enough to actually keep using this product.

I was expecting to love it more for the price. The flavor is mild but I am not sure if there is enough salt to be an adequate electrolyte. I do drink more water when I add it to my bottle in the morning. I won’t buy this again due to the high price.

I want to reap the health benefits of this but this stuff is so nasty. I can only stomach half a teaspoon and it still tastes awful. It tastes like what Jello smells like. Even if you mix it into fruit juice it’s still awful. It’s so so salty. They need to work on a better taste.

Great product, clean, tasty, and just so happy to finally have found an electrolyte powder without stevia!
