Not for Miso Soup Stock
Asian is a very vague term. The taste of this is more indonesian/malay/thai seasoning. It is basically an all purpose seasoning that gives instant unforgettable pungent notes from kaffir lime and tumeric. You'll recognize those notes that typify meals from the region.Miso soup and japanese cuisine tends to be relatively bland compared to its neighbours and while you could add this to miso soup it would not really be any miso soup you've tasted before. Nothing wrong with it but just want to warn people that despite its selling point this is not suitable for creating any standard miso soup. You can add it to sauces, marinades, imparting some flavour in whatever you are cooking. Alone i find it lacks depth. I add it to instant noodles sometimes, in tandem with a bit of a stock cube or just a little of the msg flavouring as i try to cut down on msg as i am allergic to it. In combination with other flavourings it can transform a dish. Also great when stir-frying something like vegetables to give your meal an extra flavour dimension.Quite useful if you like the flavours.

Great and convenient stock
Indispensible ingredient, excellent flavour. I would prefer a version with a lower salt content, but minor issue only.

Good, but go easy on the amount.
Great taste and versatility. But go easy on the amount. It's thinner than I was expecting, but don't think that means less flavour. But just use the recommend ratios and you'll be OK and consider those for the amount of liquid you want. Not sure I'll be able to use the whole bottle before it passed it's best, but it's so easy to use it's worth buying.

Add carefully & taste
Chefs advice: This is a stock concentrate so contains SALT add it to chicken or white meat sauces gravies or poach chicken, the flavors are amazing but kitchen rules apply: add carefully a little at a time and TASTE or you could end up with a ruined salty dish 10/10

Good product for price
My usual chicken concentrate is no longer available at my supermarket. I have been looking for an alternative when I came across this. Great taste.

Very Salty
Tastes of nothing but salt, no chicken flavour.

Tasty
A good product that goes a long way and adds depth and flavour to stews, soups, ramen and stir fries.

Good but salty
I have used the beef concentrate a few times now and it has a great flavour, however, as others have mentioned it is very salty. In fact, so salty there has been no need to add any additional salt when I've used it to make sauces and gravies.I'm not sure if I'll buy again as I like to have more control over the salting of my food and using enough concentrate for a suitably beef flavour can add too much salt (and I like a lot of salt!).I will continue to experiment as it has a good flavour and is certainly better than an oxo cube!
