Why did you pick this product vs others?: My son loved the legos

We purchased this set and a couple other Singing Monsters Lego-type sets. My girls spent 7 hours diligently putting them together and enjoyed every minute of it! Because there were a few duplicates between the three sets, my girls used those parts and designed their "own" Singing Monsters. My girls are 12 and love the Singing Monsters app where they create their own music.
