Great resource for your pack kit.
This is a great pocket sized resource that lives in my "go kit" for my 2m/440 handheld. It seems to be very comprehensive and useful. If there is anything negative to say, it is that the small format (which I needed for the pack bag) necessitates small print that my older eyes have a little trouble with......this is no fault of the book and just means I need to keep a pair of glasses handy!

Excellent book
As a new Amateur Radio license holder, I found this book to be incredibly helpful as I travel with my HT. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive listing of repeaters, as well as for its included information regarding SKYWARN (of which I am a part) and other helpful tips.I also appreciated the fact that, with the book, you received a year's free usage of the app that goes along with the book as well. That was a definite plus!

Must-have information, convenient size, durable with a mod
This is a must-have for using your radio while travelling. Seems accurate for the areas I have tried it. The size is convenient to throw in a bag or glove box. The cover could get beat up pretty quickly so I added contact paper to the outside. Very happy with it after that!

Essential Travel Directory for HAM Repeaters
The small size of this handbook is important when it comes to carrying it as you travel and want to use VHF and UHF repeaters with Hand Transceivers (HT) or mobile transceivers. It is republished pretty often to keep up with radio repeater changes. All in all, if you travel and need to use repeaters, it has current information needed to operate with them.

A must for Hams
This softcover pocket-sized reference also includes a password to the Android Repeater Directory app, which is a really great tool. I keep this in the truck with me wherever I go, which is much easier than using Google to find local repeaters, especially when phone service is limited or your battery is dead - exactly when you would need to use a repeater in the first place. Don't leave home without it!

EXCELELNT Reference.
Piles of EXCELLENT information from ARRL. It may be a crime, but I buy ARRL stuff through Amazon, as it is so much more convenient. (Sorry ARRL, at least I'm a member.) Anyway, I would recommend this publication to anyone with a repeater. OK, there are web sites with much of the same information, but the book has LOTS of other information, e.g., repeater etiquette.

It is a great value if you travel to many states
The information is available for free online, but it is very convenient to have the book. It is a great value if you travel to many states, but for me, I stay in CA almost exclusively. I am still glad I bought it though.

Book and an App
I was going to just buy the app but it is nice to have a hard copy book in case you need a repeater and don't have cell service (the very reason many of you have radios to begin with). The book is a nice size for the glove box or go bag.
