Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 9" Lightweight Comfort Stretch Oxford Shorts

This is our second pair of shorts we have ordered. They are just as great as the others! They feel and look very high quality. We have had problems ordering before where clothing received was nothing like what was advertised. Not the case here! These were better than expected! I ordered the first pair for my son and my husband [who is a clothing snob] begged me to order him a pair! That is a huge endorsement in itself! I was nervous that the second order may not be as great because, as many say, you dont always get the same thing again, ordering on Amazon. It may seem weird to say a mens pair of shorts are beautiful but they arare. The fabric, when looking close, has a very high quality weave almost like a thin tweed.Washing: I accidentally washed our first pair with work clothing. Hot and hard with a very hard dry. The roughest wash possible. I, normally, would have NEVER done that! To my surprise, the shorts came out looking as good as new! I could not believe it!I highly recommend these shorts and am grateful for the price! We will definitely by buying many more pair.Fits true to size. My son is a 32" [5'10 height] . My husband is a 34" [6'1"].

So, you can't please all of the people all of the time. Frankly, I'm surprised to read the several poor reviews on these shorts. As for me, in my opinion, I really like these. They actually feel good to put on; they're lightweight, flexible waist, sit nicely around the waist and really look nice. Above all they're comfortable, and so much so that I immediately ordered two more pair in different colors yesterday. They look to be well made. I also like the secondary zipper button which keeps the pants flat and un-puckered (is that a word?) when I zip up. I live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and have come to need lightweight shorts and shirts for the summer months; and these fit my needs beyond my expectation. Highly recommended. By the way, I have a 38" waist since I'm over 60. Another quick thing, the fabric allows for good airflow through the shorts. Guys, just take care of yours and wash them in COLD WATER with Cold Water Tide and go easy on the dryer, keeping the setting LOW; and you won't be disappointed.

So the quality isn’t that of the more expensive brands but it is close to it. And the price is just right to boot. Now concerning the fit, for me it is excellent. Best fitting pair of shorts ever. You may not have noticed it but stores are not carrying odd number sizes anymore. Keeping inventory down I guess. For me that’s a killer because is have a 31” waist and Amazon carries the sizes. I am also buying their jeans as well.

Purchased one and ended up purchasing three more. Fit well. I liked that the material is soft and thinner than others. Cooler for Florida.

They run a bit large in the waist, but they seem well made and fit perfectly.

I don't usually like buying fast fashion as the items just last a season or two. Needed some shorts in a hurry for a trip and these were the only ones available. They are fine and fit well (5'7 32 in waist, about 145 lb body) but the material is very prone to pilling. May need to run through hand wash cycle to keep them looking good longer.

I ordered one pair to see how I like them, and now I'm back to order a second pair in a different color. These are just what I wanted -- casual shorts that aren't cargo shorts. They are comfortable and the fit is just right. The length is good, too. There seems to be a little stretch in the waistband, but if there is, it isn't much, which is fine.

For the price it's hard to beat. Do they fade after 15 20 washes, yes but at the most 20 bucks can you really completely. I'm a bigger guy and tried a few different styles, and the oxford is the ones if you have a little more to love. Just enough stretch that if they are a tad to snug, no one forced you to eat that cookie and cream cheesecake at 3am, then once on and sit for a few seconds. Bam perfect fit. 9in inseam is perfect. 7 inch is borderline come and get me and well the 5 inch, should go the way of the skinny jeans, jnkos, and tie die. And there designers and companies that approved those, look at me, I'm obviously over compensating for something should take a seriously hard look at men daisy dukes. Goodthread oxford 9inch are my faves. Are there better out there, yes, for the price, NO.

Really was suprised at how good the quality and the fit of these shorts were...Highly recommend
