I haven't installed something like this for over 15 years. Either these have gotten easier, or I've gotten smarter. This was pretty smooth install. Kids even helped me with wiring everything up. About 4 hours total with kid help and a Lowes run for some male/female crimps to make connection easier. Most of the time was spent trying to get the factory unit out. Installed this with a Crux SWRGM-48 and steering wheel controls still work. Hooked right up to factory Bose system and sounded pretty solid, but I still need to take it for a test drive. Would recommend this as a entry grade. Mainly upgraded so the kids could listen to music on trips.

Worked very well in my 2005 Silverado. Easy to pair to my iPhone, easy to use over all. Pretty good radio for the money

The unit does what it says on the tin: it's a two-din head unit that's all touch interface (not the best idea for a moving vehicle, but whatever) with decent sound quality and a healthy bass presence. My only real complaint with the unit is that roughly 1 out of 10 times when I start my car my ears are immediately assaulted with white noise static that's 10 times louder than whatever volume setting I have it on. I'm not sure what causes this, but it happens on both Bluetooth and the radio setting. Basically any sound coming through this thing may rupture your eardrums, so it's kind of like playing a game of Russian roulette with your ears. Luckily turning the car off and then back on again as a quick fix, so not a permanent issue. If you've got a gambling addiction and want to further your hearing loss, this is definitely the head unit for you. For everyone else: be careful when you turn it on, otherwise it's a good unit for the money.
