The engine was perfect however there was an issue with the wiring and I do believe that you guys should make note that the wiring will not exactly be what is on the bike you need to use it on. We were advised we needed to use our old wiring and that would have been good to know when we purchase the engine. However everything else was perfect

I put this in a SSR125 4 stars because I had to reuse my old carburetor the choke is on the wrong side of the one they sent wires were different but I just left the square plug hanging You’ll probably have to adjust the screw on the clutch before it will turn over It seems to run great

This motor does not work for pit bikes…… you have to cut the frame to fit in carbeurator. Dont buy junk……

So far I’m happy with it. Installed this on a 1970 Honda qa50. Had to fabricate mounts. Lower was easy cut original and move it to where it needed to go to fit. Had to cut the frame for the top mount and make a bracket that went lower and wider then original. If you need to have a quick big guide you’ll need a 12v CDI wiring harness, clutch lever kit or cable. Foot pegs unless you modify the original. Bike runs good didn’t need a lot of tuning to get it at a good idle.

We ordered this motor with $100 shipping fee and it broke the first day. Shipping label for return was at senders expense. UPS quoted me $130 to return it! Seller would not provide a prepaid return label. Opened a claim with Amazon that was also denied, twice! Trash motor and quality not supported by seller OR Amazon! I’m out $300!!

I would NOT recommend this engine to anyone, as it is defective! The engine has gear issues. It misses 3rd completely, so it shifts straight from 2nd to 4th, and sometimes it takes trying to shift a few times before 4th engages. It has a hard time going into neutral, if it will at all, and sometimes it feels like the gear slips and downshifts out of nowhere, so it is very unpredictable and too unreliable to be riding any distance. This was a Christmas present, and given the time of year, by the time the mechanic could install it, it was out of warranty. I was very disappointed in the product because the engine seems strong.
