Fitted a silencer removal recently and needed some exhaust paste for the new straight through. This paste is fantastic - if a little messy. It’s more liquid initially so make sure you shake the bottle to get the mix going. I personally prefer the more spreadable nature of this paste compared to some others I’ve tried as it’s easier to apply and gauge the amount you need! You could use a spatula I guess but I just put on some rubber gloves, spread the paste on the join to create a nice amount then placed my new pipe on. Used the excess to seal any gaps, then bam it starts to harden. Before a drive simply start the car let it heat up to ‘set’ the paste and you’re gold!

I used this to repair a snapped exhaust that needed sealing around the new sleeve. Once dried it has prevented any exhaust gases from leaking from the new section. If like me you are repairing a large section I would advise against running the engine to speed up the drying process as this just blew all my putty over my driveway. Removed a star from the rating as the consistency of the putty is very watery initially.

Having tried several other well known brands ( with variable success ) I decided to try this out ( as I have other products from their range ). Application was straightforward, applied to exhaust pipe and outlet port on cylinder head of classic motorcycle and push fit together. Ran engine for a few minutes ( low revs) and product dried to produce an airtight ( exhaust -tight ) joint. Please note… you must manipulate the product with your fingers by massaging the container tube ( thereby mixing it ) for a minute or two. If you do not the product will emerge either very thick or very thin ( almost a liquid ). I can recommend this product, not the cheapest but ……..? You gets what you pay for!

Just being a perfectionist some of the arrow exhaust can fixings on my Speed Triple are just interference fit , so it's just the stuff for reassembling the exhaust system after being removed for cleaning , it definitely stopped any slight exhaust leaks
