I needed a cable to connect my VHS player to the adapter for converting to the hard drive and editing down to a DVD. This cable fit the bill nicely and works well.

I used this cable for digitizing old cassette tapes from a camcorder as it was better quality to use S-Video than component. The cable did its job.

Good solid cable, Well priced... If you are using S-Video, this is a good choice... If you do not use S-Video than this will not work for you.
