Easy to use
Got this for our holiday home, as we've had issues in the past with beetles. It is easy to apply, just sprinkle where you need it to be, and hoover it up later.I left it on for a week, while we weren't using the caravan.Probably too early to tell if it has done the job, but haven't seen any indication of beetles since the application.

Poor design of plastic container
I've used other carpet beetle powder before which was very effective. However after shaking it well, as soon as I took the lid off this carton to sprinkle it the inner plastic bung with the sprinkle hole fell out onto the carpet along with most of the powder making a huge mess.Tried to reposition the bung but it's too loose and just falls straight out.Not impressed.

Easy to use and seemed to work on carpet beetles!
Super easy to use, just sprinkle on the carpet, leave for a while and then hoover up. It seemed to work very well although we did only have a few bugs and not a huge infestation.

Does the job…I think.
Quite a few years back my cat had an obsession with rolling around in giant daisies, which just so happened to be the adult carpet beetle’s favourite plant. It wasn’t long before she brought them into the house and that was it. Every year I’ve been doing my best to fight the little critters but no matter how much vacuuming you do they’ll find a spot out the way. I’ve completely cleared two rooms down to just carpet and walls and whilst it limited it I’ve never been able to get rid of them completely. The adults are harmless but the larvae is not, not only can they irritate the skin with their hairs (also called woolly bears but they aren’t as cute as they sound) they can get inside electronics due to the warmth and that’s never good. The problem is, the larvae is active in October and unless you’re crawling around the ground in dark areas, you’ll probably never know you got them, the adults appear in march / April so by the time you see them, it’s too late.Well, it’s October and I decided to sprinkle this is some uninhabited areas under things they might hide. I can say for certainty that this stuff does kill them so it does work, but, because it was in areas we don’t go, I was happy to just sprinkle and leave it, I’m not so happy to do that in habited areas as I’m really not a fan of chemicals. You are meant to vacuum it up after a few hours. It’s hard to know exactly how good it is because these little critters are good at hiding and you only need to miss one for the never ending cycle.Anything that helps is a plus to me and for a tenner it’s a lot cheaper than the potential damage they can cause.

It works
Used it left it for a few days to grind in then hovered it up it disappeared the silver fish insects that was multiplying in my home. I can’t recommend it enough. Make sure you get in the corners of the carpet.

Unclear instructions
It states here to leave for 2 hours. On the product it says 2 days. I'm unsure which is correct

Seems to work well!
We had a bit of trouble with some black carpet beetles. After sprinkling this in one of their most common areas, we've definitely seen a decrease in them. Will definitely be spreading it around the other few places they congregate!
