I like the look of the magnetic mount, and the replaceable needles are cheap as they’re just standard acupuncture needles. The needles are thin and distribute the coffee nicely. It doesn’t take up too much space on the counter.

This tool has really improved my espresso prep. It makes distributing grounds super even which leads to more consistent shots. The magnetic base is clever and let me stick it on my machine so it’s always within reach. Good for breaking up grounds and ensuring consistent shots. Only downside is that it’s not one of those fancy push button spinny ones.

Good value. Certainly not fancy, but well built for what it is. No real complaints. Works as expected. The stand is definitely convenient.

Hit rate on proper creme prior to adding this to the set up cycle was around 70%. Now hitting 95%, maybe higher. Who'd of thought such a simple concept would make this impact

The handle itself is plasticy, but it does it's job. I didn't want a WDT where the needles were all parallel to one another, this one feels like I'm getting into the corners of the basket because of the flared arrangement. It's pretty much eliminated channeling and helped remove one variable from my daily attempts at making decent espresso. My only gripe is a few of the extea needles were bent before they got to me, but they're just acupuncture needles. Easy enough to find and I haven't bent one yet.

Das WDT Tool selbst ist zwar aus Kunststoff, aber es hält die Nadeln zuverlässig. Das fühlt sich vielleicht nicht so wertig wie Aluminium an, tut der Funktion aber keinen Abbruch. Super ist, das es zwei Nadelsätze gibt, wovon ich den mit 0,25mm verwende bei einem Le Marzocco Einersieb. Die Nadeln stehen zwar schön schräg, aber mit den dünnen Nadeln ist das Kaffemehl schwierig ganz eingetaucht zu durchmischen. Auch hakt man gern mal in die Sieblöcher ein. Also vorsichtig schön langsam von unten nach oben, ständig rührend, bis man oben angekommen ist. Dann aber erreicht man ein sehr homogenes Kaffeemehl, dass klumpenfrei schön eben im Siebträger liegt. Meine Ergebnisse beim Bezug haben eindeutig profitiert von der Behandlung, speziell, weil das Le Marzocco Sieb durch seine zylindrische abgesenkte Form sehr empfindlich auf ungleiche Mehldichte reagiert und anders kaum korrekt zu leveln ist. Da dieses WDT Tool ein super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat, hab ich gleich zwei, so dass ich das andere mit den 0,35mm Nadeln montiert hab. Das ist bei der größeren Mehlmenge im Zweiersieb von Vorteil, da die Naden doch deutlich steifer sind. Der Ständer mit der Magnethalterung funktioniert prima. Für mich ist das aber nicht entscheidend. Ich hab auch noch ein anderes Tool, bei dem das Tool auf einem Zapfen aufliegt. Das funktioniert auch toll und ist sogar etwas schneller. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen. Teurer braucht man nicht und ein extra leveler ist auch überflüssig! Das WDT Tool bringt den höchsten Qualitätsschub und ist ein Muss für jeden der Perfekte Bezüge haben will.

Ottimo strumento, lo utilizzo per il basket della moka, lo ripongo sempre nella sua scatola, di conseguenza non ho testato i magneti, il peso del WDT è molto leggero, l’imballaggio è resistente e incluso di aghi di ricambio come descritto. Ottimo strumento, fa egregiamente il suo mestiere
