Solid Burgers
Just rando sampled a pack from my stash. Hydrated then for like ten minutes and then seasoned and broiled, The burgers can fall apart, likely due to the freeze drying process but once cooked they taste like actual burgers. Not the best burger of course but given the use case it’s a solid backyard burger when and if needed.

For being freeze dried, it’s very good.
Tastes good. Kinda has a flat fast food burger taste. Overall, in the middle of the woods, it’s a damn good burger.

Use within 2 weeks after opening package
I have little storage space in freezer and fridge. I also work around 60 hours a week. It's temping to stop for fast food. If you factor in the cost these hamburgers are slightly cheaper than getting one from fast food and they taste great. Definitely a great choice to have on hand for those throw together dinners

Just as a hamburger should taste.
Thought I had a picture of them soaking. Buying freeze dried fits to help with storage in our future RV and help bring down food costs in retirement. Two were broken and not able to put back together, but otherwise these are perfect. Will buy again. Even our teen kids liked them.

With food prices going up this will come in handy.

Meh
A bunch of broken pieces that, if they weren’t a bag full of fragments, would have been great. Cooked, they were good, so not a total loss. Just don’t expect a bag full of solid patties.

Ready made hamburger
While I haven't tried this yet the idea intrigued me. Freeze dried hamburger patties that just need to be soaked in water for a short period and then cook however you want - on the grill or in the frying pan or whatever turns your crank. Or chop it up and use like regular hamburger. I think it's a fantastic idea and something that everybody that has any kind of emergency or survival food storage should consider adding to their supplies. My only complaint is that apparently this company's offerings are made to order. In other words, you place your order, and when enough orders are received for a selected product, then they start the freeze drying process. Freeze drying food is a time consuming process, and so far my experience with this company is don't expect your order in less than 3 weeks. Otherwise I'm happy with their products.
