We live in Tick Central, so after removing a tick off my son, I realized we had truly pathetic tweezers in the house, and it was time to get some legit tick removal tweezers. I was searching for stainless steel tick tweezers, so they'd last and last.I bought two different stainless steel tweezers to try out.This brand is my favorite.Why?1) I can tell, from having to remove maaaaany ticks, that these tweezers are designed to remove ticks the RIGHT way. The company also includes a card with instructions for removing ticks the right way. Very helpful and clear.2) What I like is that the tweezer to remove a little bitty tick and the tweezer to remove an engorged tick are on different ends of the SAME TOOL. That's not the case with all brands. That means there are fewer things to loose. Everything is combined in one tool. - I have everything I need in one place.So handy.I keep the tick tweezers with the ID card in my cabinet in the bathroom. I'm going to buy more of these and stash them in every family member's car.

These little tweezers worked well on a tiny nymph that was stuck between my dad's fingers. I was able to grab it easily and get it out. I've never seen such a small tick, but these did the job!

Very happy with purchase.I have not used it but watched the videos and read the reviews.I have no doubt this is the best tick removal tool on the market!A very reasonable price.Glad to know when I need this it will be readily available.

The Bug Bite Thing tick remover is made of a sturdy metal material, although I question its quality as it feels "off" compared to other metal tweezers I use. The thin/fine-tipped end seems to be more useful to get under and grasp the tick in question. Unfortunately, there is a miniscule gap between the two tweezers, which seems to impact my ability to get a solid grip on some of the tinier buggers. They're not too sharp, which is a bonus when working on a squirming pet or child. The other broader, slotted end intended for larger ticks just seems useless and does not grasp hold of or effectively remove anything unless perhaps you just want to remove a critter that is only on the skin surface or very loosely attached and can be scooped off easily w/ minimal effort.When I was younger, I experienced an unfortunate situation in which I was literally covered w/ hundreds of ticks from head to toe and every nook & cranny in between. It took hours to remove them all and left me scarred--I absolutely loathed ticks from that moment on, so I was excited to try this out. Alas, its performance is only slightly above other removal implements and then only for a subset of "perfectly"-sized ticks that one can readily grasp w/ the pointier-side of the tweezers. They will remain in my first aid kit for camping, but I would not replace them if they were lost or walked off.
