Instant cold relief
These are literal life's savers for me after I play hockey. They come in a nice box to hold them and I just pull 1 out when I need it. You fold it in half to pop the little bag inside and it gets cold instantly when you shake it. Works great and stays cold for about an hour. After an hour theyre still cool but not quite cold enough for pain relief or swelling. But an hour is still more than enough and having this many is a great bargain. Excellent ice packs.

Good for temporary relief
The media could not be loaded. Pros: I bought guys for keeping in my car first aid kit. I have some long term ankle injuries, and once in awhile I tweak it while out and about. They certainly don't replace the larger freezer ice packs that can wrap around your injury, but they do a good job in a pinch when away from home. I also have had no issue with leaking, however I've kept mine with little dollar tree plastic baggies and a small throw away wash cloth just in case. Stays cold for about twenty minutes, which I find long enough to get home and grab a normal re-usable freezer one, or while I wait after put one in the freezer. Another pro is that it's actually not so cold to the touch that I need a cloth between my skin and the cold pack. Normally I would want very very cold, but it ends up being nice with limited supplies.Cons: I've had a really hard time actually activating the ice pack. The instructions say to fold the pack in half and burst the liquid packet inside however there is so much air in ice pack there's so way that can happen. I've had to locate the internal water packet, situate it in the middle of the outer bag, and strategically punch down on a hard surface to break it. Once you do break it, the cold is instant though. It could also be a con that the packet doesn't get as cold as a reusable freezer pack does depending on your needs.Overall good for an emergency situation but you'd want to get yourself better positioned to care for an injury if you can.

Great for a quick chill
I use these to treat pain resulting from a chronic neurological disorder. They are small enough to carry in my purse, study enough to not accidentally pop, and easy to activate. They do stay very cold for about 15 minutes, which is usually about the amount of time that I can take a break and use one. I found them to be average quality and a good value, with the downside being disposable plastic that can be a bit crinkly against the skin.

Very Convenient
These instant ice packs are so good and convenient. There is no need to keep an ice pack in the freezer anymore. The ice pack stays cold for about 45 minutes. They are very easy to open. Once I’m done I throw it away in the trash. If you need an instant cool down ladies during a flash this is it. I used the ice packs when I had hand surgery about 3 times a day. The amount that comes in the box and the price is well worth it.

Very Easy To Activate!
Small enough to fit on small hands without sliding off. Ice pack cover "molds" to your hand more than the ones I bought at Walgreens and CVS. Very easy to get cold just follow instructions!!! Love these!

Great for car emergency kits, especially for parents.
I love keeping these in the car for play ground tumbles. Usually nothing is too serious, but we've seen a few twisted ankles and these really saved the day! I keep them in a tupper ware container just in case they get jostled around and accidentally activated, but I'm surprised that in the southern heat they've been just fine in the car. This is my restock, I don't recall when I purchased them last, but I still have a few from my first box ...gosh, I wanna say close to a decade ago.

Gets cold quickly, short life.
Purchased these for on the go icing post-dental surgery. These are a good size for that use and whatever is inside (probably ammonium nitrate granules) is squishy enough to conform to the jawline's curves. Make sure to follow the instructions to shake the contents down to one end of the bag to make it easier to activate. Activation requires popping a small inner bag of water (which you can't see or feel) but once it pops, you'll feel the pack getting cold. Shake it for at least a minute to distribute the water throughout the inside of the pack. After that, the cold lasts about 5 minutes of peak, 8 minutes total before it is back to room temp.
