Understanding Stocks, Third Edition

Excellent book. Written in a style that is both simple to read and understand. Author has very good understanding of his subject and has written several popular financial books that are well received. The points presented are actionable and sincere, just like his name Michael Sincere. How I wish I have known of this book much earlier. I have bought 5 books from this author. No regret.

I recommend this book to anyone that wants to start on the huge journey that is the stock market. The author does a very good job of introducing key subjects in a beginner friendly manner. If this is your first book on the subject I believe you will not be disappointed and will learn a lot.

Well written. Easy to understand for a newbie; giving an overall explanation of the stock market. Concepts and terminology are explained well. This is not a book for advanced investors or traders. The concepts will help get a person investing in the stock market, however, learn by paper trading first (as the author warns). Practice makes perfect.

Happy new year. Forgot to say thanks for the book. I finally made it to my mailbox 2 days ago, it is down the street so I don't get there often. I started reading it and it's like it was written for me. He explains everything and it is easy to understand. My head doesn't spin. I am going to give it to both of my kids.

I enjoy how the book breaks down complicated concept to a level that is explainable to anyone. I don’t believe that by reading this book you’ll become an expert in the stock market. However, it is a good introduction in understanding how the market works. I strongly recommend to use this book as a stepping stone in your journey of learning more about the stock market. There are plenty of book out there that that can teach you about investment, but without a solid foundation they might be a little hard to understand. Use this book to learn the basics, so the other books could be understood!
