We bought this to soften my son‘s baseball glove that we just purchased for Christmas. The mallet worked wonders after a few days of working the glove it’s softened and it’s perfect for the baseball season. It is sturdy and made of really nice wood. Very easy to use .

Back in the days we would break in the mitts with a ball doing hundreds of throws into the mitt. Over and over again the ball would help to shape the pocket. Now there are products like the Glove Mallet. I really liked this option because this product was a solid wood design and worked easily to shape the glove. The mallet allowed me to work the glove and create a nice shape to the pocket. I've used this mallet on a couple of gloves and will continue to use this product for more mitts. Overall, I would recommend giving this product a try.

Convenient tool to use while watching tv or whatever. Breaks in gloves and mitts nice - don’t hit your fingers though!!! it hurts like the dickens!!!
