AP Art History Premium, Sixth Edition: Prep Book with 5 Practice Tests + Comprehensive Review + Online Practice (Barron's AP Prep)

This book saved my neck as a first year AP Art History teacher. The textbook chosen for me was too dense and had far too much material. This boils down everything into digestible pieces. I encouraged the students to purchase it as well. Use it was the Smart History videos and it will serve you well.

Barron did a great job summarizing art history.

This study book has a good layout and saved my life teaching AP art history for the first time. There are some spelling and grammatical errors. Some of the information on different works isn’t 100% accurate but good enough for the AP exam. (Art history is my specialty so of course I nitpick the information on each of the art works and cross reference with other sources).

My daughter normally does not take AP classes, and the AP art history teacher at her school is known for not preparing the students for the exam. I ordered this book a few weeks before the exam to help her prepare, and she ended up getting a 3. It wasn’t as high as we hoped for, but she was one of the few in her class who scored high enough to get credit.

Nice "fairly concise" book of art history. Used by my son for high school homeschool art credit. Easy to consume material over multiple eras of art and get key themes from each of them.

My daughter uses this practice book a lot and definitely help her getting more comfortable and confident in learning AP Art History course that is quite challenging. The book is very organized and makes it easy for my daughter to digest the topics. Great practice book.
