Love that it has cleaner ingredients compared to a lot of wet foods! Smelled a lot better than other wet food brands I’ve tried too. My cat absolutely loved it his first time trying it!! A little on the expensive side but most cat foods without fillers are, it’s on par price wise with other brands I’ve tried

Sadly, my cats didn't take to this food. They just didn't like the flavor. I don't know why, other than to say they have beer tastes when they could be on a champagne budget (the opposite of what you'd expect. My cats always seem to gravitate towards the cheapest and lousiest foods for their health. I suppose it's a McDonlad's type of thing. Like how kids (and adults) like Mickey Dee's better than surf and turf when we are in that kind of mood. But the food itself is as solid as it gets for cats. Tiki Cat is one of the few companies that knows exactly what an obligate carnivore needs without greatly overcharging their customers for that knowledge. It's very hard to find a pet food company that honestly cares about pets these days. Tiki Cat obviously does. This is possibly one of the best, if not THE BEST foods out there for your cat. You'll see and feel the difference: their fur gets softer, they're full of youthful energy, and they live much longer without seroius illnesses. Give it a try.

Well Ive only used 1 can so far, but my cat LOVES it. He acts like, thats what he has always wanted. He is very satisfied after eating it. Sometimes cat food seems to not satisfy my cat, or for very long. He loves the quail egg. I was feeding him egg yokes as a treat before I found this food. Expensive, but my healthy awesome cat is worth it. My cat seems to have a slightly different nutrient requirement than many other cats. He is a little bigger, might be part main coon, but high quality and kind of a lot of cat food is what he needs. He stays lean. He is about 10. Im prett sure I could survive off this food during an apocolyptic event lol.

One cat loved it the other does not. Give it a shot. One of the better wet foods on the market in terms of both variety and quality.

High quality food! My cat is very picky but can eat this one

Out of seven cats, only one would eat this food and within three hours of eating, started vomiting and had blood in his stool. Is it because of this food??? All I can say is sometimes when our cats won't eat certain foods, we have a tendency to label them as picky and fussy. Perhaps it's their small size and food sensitivity that we need to pay closer attention to. If six cats from four different households will not taste this food, then we as their caretakers need to pay attention to the root causes. Because I cannot narrow down the cause of the illness the single cat experienced, I cannot directly place blame on this food. What I do know is that Tiki Cat was recently bought by General Mills and standards and processes have most likely changed. Not necessarily for the better. I do urge you to please give your fur children a varied diet as much as possible. Do not rely on a single company or manufacturer. Cost is NEVER a guarantee of quality.

My cats love this food it's been my go-to for years

I couldn't get my cat to recognize this as food, in any of the flavors. In the end I put the remaining contents of four different cans in a bowl and put it outside for the family of feral cats who also get fed here. They wouldn't eat it either. Nor would the first few raccoons that came by. Eventually it did disappear and I assume that some later wildlife, raccoons or a skunk maybe, did come by and finish it. But at premium prices, this was honestly a waste of money and that's the honest truth. You can never predict what a cat will choose to eat, that's the bottom line. Chances are that if you have several cats, they won't ever agree that any one cat food is the best or even acceptable (but if you know differently, please pass that on!!). I will say that this brand does look good and smell right and it beats me why the cats don't agree.

This is a high quality cat food that because of the inclusion of organ meat is completely balanced. The “aroma” is rather pungent but the cat is clearly attracted to it. When given this food, the kitty obviously enjoys this and makes his enjoyment known through his enthusiastic munching and noises. This is an expensive food, no question. But it is very high quality and if you can afford “the best” this is a good choice. If, like me, this is only for occasional treats, keep this food in mind if your kitty is ill or recovering from surgery. Keep in mind that cats are obligate carnivores and should NOT be fed grains or carbohydrates. Keep in mind that raw liver is also a wonderful treat for many cats and is very healthy.

My cats prefer the sea food one but still looks like good quality

My cat hates the other Tiki Cat products (After Dark, etc.) I think it’s because of the texture of the shredded meat. But he licks this all up and I’m so glad he loves it.
