Good
Very good product. Small flame which is good for not burning the walls

Flames only when you want them.
I like the trigger start handle and the fact you can lock the flame on without holding the trigger all the time.

rip off
too expensive. un maintainable. mine broke quickly after use, half way through a job. i managed to get working. but after not using for a short period the flame was crazy, like i had solder in it.- which it didnt!i forgot who i purchased through so couldnt return it in time.

Cool but not repairable!!!!
Yes, as reported it's a Bernzomatic Hose torch. The Rothenberger sticker fell off after about 2 weeks!! But I love the ease of us of this torch, its just a shame that it costs so much for an un serviceable tool. The Bernzomatic one is impossible to find. Please someone start making these and seling them online..

Very poor quality
I,ve had three of these in four years but no more.Totally unserviceable and can't be repaired. Ignition always fails after a few months, Trigger sticks on and hose connection too weak.Other than that lovely tool to use whilst it,s working

It Could be Good
Its a gas torch that has some design flaws. The concept is great but the hose where it meets either the regulator or the torch hose needs strengthening. This fails just after a year (one year warranty!) and it is not repairable. If you can live with spending £100 on a gas torch every 12 to 15 Months or so then this is fine. The benefits of the torch are greater control on soldering which means neater work and you can get into really small spaces. If Rothenberger could make it last longer it would be a good product and one we would buy more of. As the Customer service at Rothenberger does not seem to be that great I doubt they will do much about the flaws.
