Magnificent 5-Star Kizer Begleiter 2 Raffir Scales, S35VN Blade
Kizer Begleiter 2 Raffir Scales, S35VN Blade. Mojave Outdoor is an awesome company to purchase from. Delivery was next day, packaged from Kizer, first class magnetic closure box w/ outer sleeve, padded velcro carry case and extra screws. Deep carry pocket clip is sturdy enough and provides good tension for pocket carry. Definitely recommend and will purchase more Kizer Begleiter 2 Raffir Scales, S35VN Blade for a great price on Amazon. Shout out to Sergio Badric CEO of Kizer Knives! Keep producing Kizer great knives. I own (19) Kizer knives and counting. Factory edge is great. Button lock action is smooth as glass. Thumb Studs opening is easy, left or right hand. Smooth, drop shut action after adding KPL (Knife Pivot Lube) heavy to the ceramic bearings. Light weight, EDC is great. S35VN Blade lenght is perfect for EDC, Raffir scales, are simi transparent and offer great grip for an XL Mechanix glove size hand. This is a second Begleiter 2, same model. Totally satisfied w/ Kizer knives.

Seriously Good Craftsmanship and Better QC than a Lot of US Companies
This knife is stupidly well made. I was expecting excellent engineering and great fit and finish given the price paid, but I was still blown away when I first unboxed this thing. Every millimeter on the handle scales and blade alike is machined perfectly. The satin finish on the blade is really well done, and it goes nicely with the titanium handle. The blade came perfectly centered out of the box and there is absolutely no play in any direction, open or closed. Also, the action is just awesome. The detent is strong enough to ensure that you'll never have to deal with a half-opening, but you'll never feel like you're fighting against it. Closing is fall-shut smooth which is great. The only negative point I can think of is that there was a small amount of grit in the jimping on the flipper, (possibly debris from the machining process) but it came out easily. All in all, this is a superb knife easily on par with some of the more expensive offerings from US manufacturers. Definitely recommend.

One of the Most Intricate Yet Simple Blades…
The quality and design are superb. The opening mechanism is both smooth and quick. The Locking mechanism is sturdy. The blade handle feels good in a hand with enough purchase for ease of use… Very Sharp, one must be careful if used for EDC. Had to purchase a thin leather sheath for safe pocket storage. Better safe than sorry… The actual blade design is more nuanced than your average blade with it’s contours and lines…

VERY lightweight and extremely high quality
This is a very high quality knife. I bought this knife mainly for backpacking and camping and I think it is perfect for that purpose. Pros: 1)Lightweight: this knife is very light especially for its size and quality. The shell is made of titanium. If you want a knife that doesn't sag your shorts while hiking/backpacking, look no further. 2)Quality materials: The steel is CPMV35 which is a very hard steel and it has been sharpened very well. This steel is probably the best blade that money can buy right now. It is that good. The shell is high quality titanium which makes it both strong and light. 3)Perfect size: the knife is perfect for EDC and general utility. It isn't too small or large and it would fit comfortably in your pocket. Cons: 1)Like all folding knife, the hinge is the weakpoint and it is not necessary suitable for hardcore use. But it is good for 99% of knife usage. Just don't use it to chop heavy wood but it is very good for cutting through thick hide or meat.

Suprisingly Good!
At the price of this knife, you expect quality. But it is much better than I expected and I own many pocket knives. This is my first Kizer, but I'm very impressed. The flipper action is buttery smooth and the blade lock up is rock solid, absolutely no play in any direction. The liner lock is strong and is a breeze to access and deactivate (I hate a stiff liner lock). Some might find the detent a little too light because you can easily fail to deploy the knife if you try, but as long as you are somewhat assertive with the flipper, it flies right out every time. The blade was centered perfectly and was hair shaving sharp right out of the box. I'm normally not a fan of tanto blades, but it just works on this knife. The handle profile is long and thin, but the ergos are excellent even with my large hands. No hot spots even with a death grip on the knife. The marbled carbon fiber is very attractive and has a slight chalky feel to it, so it's not overly grippy, but not slippery either. That slim profile and CF scales combined with the pen like pocket clip which is pretty deep, allows the knife to slide in and out of the pocket nicely and won't shred your pants. And to top it off, the knife is barely over 2.5 oz which is superb for a 3.5" blade. You won't even know it's in your pocket. This is my new EDC. I highly recommend this knife!

A lot good, but at this price I expect perfection.
This knife handles and feels Awsome. Light weight. Snaps open smoothly. Holds open strong. Sharp. I’d give this a perfect score if it was not for one thing wrong in the blade…. The beveled edge on one side starts just a bit before the other side…. Giving the knife an almost bent look if you look at it closely from the top down. Maybe it’s is just my knife but all the same it is a small flaw that makes an almost perfect knife not so perfect…. And at this price tag, I feel it should be just a touch closer.
