I have been using this battery replacement for about a month now. This has been a great battery replacement for my DS5. Controller works great. Battery holds charge as it should. Everything works great as it should, humble and all. I normally play 1-3 hours sessions and for these it is superb as the battery is just getting to half way. I did test to see how many hours I could get from it. I did get 6 hours on a single charge. This was done in 2 sessions of 3 hours during the same day.If you find yourself with a DS5 bad battery that no longer holds charge for any longer than 2-5 minutes, do yourself a favor and try this battery replacement. Installation is simple. All is needed is patience. Look for the ifixit DualShock5 video where they take it apart so you know how to get started. After that, it is a matter of patience and keeping your screws in a secure place. If you can stand your ground in any SoulEldenBorne ground, if you can make it to the last 5 standing in any Warzone map, this is but a walk in the park for you. Handle it.

This kit includes two replacement batteries, a Phillips screwdriver, and a plastic prying tool. While I can't yet speak to battery longevity, I can confirm the batteries appear genuine—no signs of relabeling or inflated mAh claims. They fit perfectly into the controller without any need for modification, and the PS5 recognized the controller immediately after installation.The screwdriver was a pleasant surprise: it’s precisely sized and sturdier than most generic ones I’ve come across. The prying tool, however, was less impressive. Its edge is too thick to be effective for opening the controller, and the soft plastic won’t survive more than a couple uses. I had to switch to a different style plastic pry tool to get the job done without ruining the controller's finish.Installation took about 20 minutes, and while the kit doesn’t include instructions, that’s understandable. Search in YouTube for the channel " What Happens When". Kudos for the content creator for a visual walkthrough. These videos helped me prep and avoid damaging the controller during disassembly.Overall, a good value if you’re comfortable with DIY repairs and have a better pry tool on hand.

These have been perfect so far. We'll see how long they hold up long term. I'll purchase this product again when it's time for battery replacements.

Perfect working very good with no problems yet after 3 weeks of installation.

Batteries fit flawlessly. Instructions and included tools were very helpful. So far, the controllers seem to have battery life that seems good as new and possibly better than new with the higher capacity. Time will tell how long these retain their charge, but I'm happy that I don't need to charge my controllers every 2 hours anymore- It seems more like 8hrs with medium settings/lights, which is fine with the cost.

The battery fit great and works good too. I would recommend this product to anyone who repairs or replace parts on their ps5 controller. Thank you

Original PS5 controllers stopped retaining charge. Ordered these and it fixed the problem. I watched a YouTube video on how to change and surprised how easy it was. Now the controllers work like they are new.

Similar to the other user with a capacity tester these are wildly under spec. Mine measured under 1400 (2x each 2 batteries). This is 12% lower than a new OEM battery (OEM actually tend to test slightly higher than spec for me).Almost every brand lies to you and you end up with a battery that has around 2100mAh of usable capacity. I figured maybe these were the same as those off brand, but didn't lie. Alas the same amount of lying and a worse battery.
