The Motorola corporate website states " Currently receiving regular security updates. Device launched on May, 2023 Security updates will stop on May, 2027 Launched On: Android 13 Next OS: Android 14 *This device will receive at least bi-monthly SMRs updates. Third Party press releases surrounding this phone state 3 years of OS system upgrades. However, that information is not stated or confirmed at the Motorola corporate website.

I tried Verizon the eSim on this model is not working. Could anyone confirm?

To activate an eSIM-enabled Android on an existing line, you must first speak to a Verizon Customer Service representative (don't use Chat). However, if you're a new Verizon customer visit My Verizon website.> Bring your own device (BYOD) page> choose a mobile service plan> follow the steps to install the eSIM onto your device. Motorola devices like this which support eSIM require you setup an eSIM profile with Verizon and only one eSIM profile can be active at a time. If you've recently performed a factory data reset on this device it's possible that the eSIM data is now lost and a Verizon tech can help you in this area in it getting it re-instated

What kind phone case works with this phone

Presently, only Motorola at their corporate website under "Accessories" are offering phone cases certified to fit the Motorola Edge+2023. Keep in mind, the case used for the Edge+ 2022 will not fit. Competitor cases sold here at Amazon might be limited in availability and all consumers should be leery of some off-brands sold online here which may not actually fit.
