Received mine earlier today. Instructions are a bit to be desired. But any body with a half a brain can figure it out. After assembly we gassed it up. 25:1 . Yes it is two cycle. You mix the gas and oil. Started right up after priming carb. For the price it works just fine.. adjust your handles and carrying straps to your liking. Did a little trimming with it just to see how it works. After balancing the machine on the carrying straps. It makes trimming easy. You can't buy anything like this for the price here in the United States. Just be sure not to over tighten the bolts . Most places you are assembly are metal to metal. So no need to do anything other then snug them up. And for guys that don't like to read directions. It has a really nice picture of it fully assembled to go off . I would buy again when and if I need another one. For people that don't understand 2 cycle and how to mix it. I am sure you can YouTube it..

Assembly was fairly easy with a bit of mechanical ability. The instructions were fairly easy to read but the illustrations are small and unclear. The hole for the locking pin where the shaft connects was on the wrong side. I had to rotate the lower shaft 180 degrees which meant I in turn had to rotate the cutting head 180. Just a simple matter of loosening a couple of bolts to rotate it, but not everyone would know you could do that. Took me a minute to figure out all the straps on the harness, which is a must, as it is kind of heavy and impossible to balance without. All that being said, I added fuel and it started on the second pull. I chose to install a different blade ( one with chainsaw teeth) and it cut with ease. I cut a tree with a 3” diameter effortlessly. I bought it solely to cut brush, the string head included doesn’t seem very durable. I would’ve given 5 stars if I didn’t have to rotate the shaft and head, and if the instructions were printed more clearly. Would recommend it to others

I want people to know this is a very good gas trimmer. Powerful, lightweight and easy to use. However the part that you add the line is the cheapest plastic part I have ever used. You can only add a small amount of line and it is extremely hard to take apart to install the line. I tried to contact the seller but amazon would not send my message. There needs to be an upgrade to this problem especially on such a good machine as this. I give that weed trimmer a 5 star but the most important part on the trimmer I give 0 stars
