Very nice overdrive pedal for bass, has a good amount of knobs to tweak the sound to your liking

I’m actually quite impressed with this pedal. I bought a couple different ones to try out. And I ended up keeping this one and it’s now part of my main rig. I really like the sound and the ability of the distortion. You can go from overdrive to full on distortion. But the key is being able to blend it with the Clean signal. So it allows me to retain clear low end, but add electric guitar style distortion on top of it. Almost sounds like I’m playing electric guitar and bass at the same time. Plus I like the flexibility of the EQ. The LED lighting on the edges looks pretty cool too.

This pedal is great, amazing value for the money! It is an Alfa omega clone with a really nice blend knob for the drive. The eq is so versatile from jazz to doom metal. Excellent clone.one star off for a loud/noisy switch-a click can be herd when turning drive on/off. Not the loudest pedal out there but has everything you really need. Simple to use too.

Sounds great on my Spector. Easy to get that clanky sound often found in rock/metal bass. Worth every cent!

Bought the MXR distortion bass pedal and I had to send it back. It was muddy; no clarity. This on the other hand was clean. My bass tone still cuts through with the distortion. Went through 3 pedals and never thought this pedal being 3 to 4 times cheaper than the competition would be so effective. Did tons of research and realized that this pedal mirrors the capabilities of the Darkglass B3K pedal (super amazing distortion pedal) which cost $260. Wow!! I unpacked the Joyo DT, plugged in, turned the gain to the right and could not stop smiling. Love it!!

I have a jazz bass guitar and was using a Boss SD1, but this one kills the lows as it is a guitar pedal. I realized of the Joyo brand and was hesitant, but watched a couple of reviews in YouTube and got the Joyo Tidal Wave pedal. This thing is amazing, it gives that much power to the instrument that you need to tweak the knobs in the pedal to avoid distortion. I am very happy with this pedal and totally recommend it.

Great pedal

Nice multi use pedal for the price. I bought it for my bass with passive pickups. It gave the signal a boost, graphic EQ and an XLR out for the soundboard. The distortion is a little mild in my opinion, but to be fair I haven't put a lot of effort into dialing it in since I don't use the distortion with 99% of the songs I play.

Cette pédale de distorsion n'est pas une simple copie de Darkglass, elle a un son et un caractère bien à elle. Comme toute disto pour basse qui se respecte, elle a un bouton blend qui permet d'aller d'un soupçon de disto jusqu'à un niveau qui frôle le fuzz, tout en gardant un vrai son de bass. J'ai maintenant très envie d'essayer d'autres pédales Joyo !!!

Great sounding pedal, for some warmth to your sound or a bit of grit. Really easy to use and really good eq. For the price it is excellent. Using it both with active Warwick basses and a passive 74 Jazz and 2011 P bass. Recommended.

Vorweg: Ich habe das Gerät zurück geschickt. Nicht aber, weil es schlecht oder minderwertig ist, sondern weil es nicht das war, was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Dafür kann das Pedal aber nichts, denn es ist sehr gut verarbeitet (Metallgehäuse, leichtgängige Potis, keine Einstreuungen). Der Preis ist sowieso sehr gut. Auch wenn es meinen Geschmack nicht getroffen hat, gebe ich dem Produkt trotzdem 4 Sterne.

El pedal tiene las funciones básicas, pero escasas. Luego también tiene algo de soplido de fondo.
