The chain and sprocket don't have the same number of teeth, the packaging shown in the picture and advertised didn't come with it, I had to buy another one from a different supplier

First off the price is unbeatable.. I put this on my 95 Nissan pickup 2.4L.. My truck would make loud timing chain rattle on a cold start, and this timing chain kit fixed it completely.. All the components that it comes with look great and of good quality.. Everything fit perfectly.. I noticed the kit came with paper gaskets for the front cover. These Nissan engines are assembled with RTV only, so I didn’t use the front cover gaskets.. Just clean your surfaces and remove all the old RTV and install with new RTV. I’m very satisfied with this product.. 40 something bucks and several hours of my own time, and my truck is new again! ****** UPDATE AFTER A FEW MONTHS*** The cold start rattle came back.. it’s not as bad as it used to be. But if I let the truck sit for a full day, it happens.. I use a 10w30 oil as well. I’m not sure whether to blame this kits tensioner, because it’s identical to the OEM tensioner. but I think it’s just a design flaw on Nissans part. I did some research and purchased a ratcheting style tension from Martin-Industries.net .. I should have went with the upgraded tensioner in the first place.. But at least this kit provided the rest of the parts at a great price.

this product had the updated timing guide with the steel backer, so no more broken guides in the future, also everything fit as expected

This was a great product for the price. Comes with everything you need including gaskets. I didn't use the gaskets, however. Opted for silicone that Nissan recommends.

Plastic guide broke. Was put together by retired nissan master mechanic.

Redid front setup on 89 s13. Had a few extra pieces that I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where they go.
