Plants be planting
These are great for starting seeds! I used them for plants that don’t do well being repotted. The roots grew right through the pot with no trouble. I started other seeds in plastic containers to see if these compostable ones improve rooting or plant health and they definitely do!They’re peat free so they don’t hold TOO much water and haven’t gotten moldy.

Terrific
I had moved from a house to an apt w/ a balcony. I had always loved working in the yard and wanted to have some plants on the patio. So I'm trying some seeds. These are a perfect size for seed starting. Excess water drains out the porous pot allows roots to grow thru. Then when you see roots or two sets of leaves just plant in a bigger pot and no need to remove from the small pot. Ill be gettin more of these Im sure.

Cute little seed starters
These are really tiny as indicated by the measurements in the description so you don't need much soil if working on a larger project with lots of seedlings. I like that they are peat free and will break down in the soil. I wasn't able to see the finished product though since they were used by students and taken home to finish growing or transplant into a new container or outdoors. Not a bad purchase for what I needed.

Good size to start seeds
Sturdy enough to start seeds. Functions fine holds the moisture.

Tiny but sort of effective?
If you’re looking for TINY pots for seed starting, these are just fine. Reality is though that they are so damn small that it’s not like you’re going to directly plant the seedling in the pot itself (which is the appeal) - you need to move the seedling into a larger container before moving outdoors anyway. My advice? Reuse those black plastic 4-pack annual containers that you already paid for rather then spending additional money on these.
