It was going to cost me almost $900 to get my screen replaced at a store, but I'd rather attempt to fix it myself and just buy an upgraded version in case I messed it up rather than spend 75% of the price I originally paid to get it fixed. The instructions, coupled with a youtube video for reference (UberGeeks), made the replacement sooooooo easy!! It took about an hour to figure it out and maybe 5 minutes to put it all back together. I am not tech savvy AT ALL!!!!! This saved me sooo much money by doing it myself and it came with all the tools I needed. Would definitely get this again (hopefully I won't have to though lol)

My screen was not cracked. It did a weird thing where it would work for 1-10 minutes and eventually shut off. I assumed it was a hardware issue as it did the same thing after switching accounts. So I bought screen. I am amazed with this screen. The price was perfect. The directions are right on. The screen looks to be a 100% exact replacement. Inspecting old and new side to side. I could not tell the difference between them. The camera works fine. The colors of the screen looks good. Maybe there is a bit too much white? I am super satisfied . The tools are fine, they are better than single use. This a complex install in my opinion. It’s not for beginners because there are so many tiny screws. All screw are smaller than a grain of rice. Half of them less than 1/8 grain. So small I almost needed a magnifying glass. They were like a speck of dust. Other than the size of screws, wrangling the hinges in to the frame were the most challenging part. Follow directions and you will be fine. Would buy again. I hope I never need to tho! After less than a month the screen has failed. There were no signs it might fail. I followed the instructions. Everything worked perfectly. The camera worked great too. It was 5 stars when it was working. Super disappointed.

Bought this to replace a cracked MacBook Pro M1 screen. Many replacements are out there but this is the one I chose based on many factors. I am happy I did as it worked flawlessly and included the necessary tools to replace the screen. I thought I had all the correct tools but I did not. There are extremely tiny screws that I have never attempted to remove/replace before. Not for the novice but with patience it is doable for the DIY. Ensure to track exactly where each screw removed came out of. And use a work surface that if you drop a tiny, tiny screw smaller than a sesame seed, that it will be trapped on your work surface.

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but decided to give this screen replacement a try. I placed my order on February 13th and received the package by the 16th. I installed it that same evening, but ran into an issue where the screen was just black. I contacted customer service on the night of February 16th, and they were quick to respond. By the 17th, I received confirmation that a replacement screen was already on its way. It’s now February 19th, and I’ve received and installed the new screen—it looks amazing! I’m so happy with my purchase! If you're looking to replace a screen on your MacBook, I highly recommend this item. I was able to follow a YouTube tutorial and saved hundreds of dollars. This was a great experience overall!

Finished the replacement last night. Overall, the product seems good…good fit, quality image. It even has the Apple logo and model label on the inside. But the instructions were terrible. I think they had about half of the required replacement steps, and the pictures were inaccurate. Definitely google a good video for the process. Top piece of advice I’ll offer (which I unfortunately found when it was too late)…after taking off the back of the case, take a picture of the components, then print out the picture. As you remove the 20-25 screws and pieces, put them on the photo you just printed so you know exactly where they go when you’re ready to out everything back together. Would have saved some time for sure.
