You’d better be sure you want this cos it’ll cost a fortune to send back if you don’t. It’s a design and execution that I would expect from a WWII era communist factory. It isn’t pretty and lacks refinement but you do get a whole hunk of metal for your money. For most people that require this level of precision I think this device lacks the required quality and tolerances. It works fine for me but my tolerance requirements are very low. It does open up new avenues and for the price I think it’s worth considering. Just be aware that it is massive and equally heavy.

Good heavy duty kit.

It is usable as a basic drill vice but as it stands is not a precision device. Unfortunately, the manufacturer could have made significant improvements with just a little more work. There was paint in the slideways that I removed. The castings were not fully fettled and had to be cleaned up. Slop in the mechanism still has to be addressed. The screw thread on one handle was off-centre and had to be tapped out.

If you are looking for a basic value for money tool, then this is it. If it's accuracy and good engineering you need, spend more!!

I bought a Nylon Unthreaded Standoff Pillar Spacers Plastic Bush Sleeves and put it in the device, where you can really see a lot of movement, inaccuracy... I lubricated all threads, friction points, so... the heavy-duty column bench has become a precise work tool... Yes, it's true... the acquired device won't be an ideal tool,if you won't improve it yourself...

Tuve que modificar y ajustar la prensa, para que las partes móviles no tuviesen tanta holgura. Además la recibí con un pasador de uno de los ejes roto.
