Great energy-saving window film
Before moving into our new home, my husband and I had to decide how we could generate as much light from the windows in each room. We agreed that the one-way privacy window film was our best option. We first applied the ConCus-T One Way Window Film to the road-facing living room windows. Carefully following the instructions, it was surprisingly easy to apply; patience is required for great results! We chose the colour Silver as this would create less tint and therefore best clarity. After the installation, we were pleased with the overall appearance of the covering. It was applied during the summertime with blazing sunlight and temperatures up to 30 degrees. The anti-glare and heat control elements of this film worked effectively; a great amount of sunlight was reflected allowing the living room to keep cool. Without the cooling effect, our leather chairs would have been uncomfortable to sit on! While the view from indoors is very clear, this reflective window film makes it impossible for onlookers to see inside our home during the daylight. But we always must remember to close our curtains BEFORE turning on the lights! During the winter period, we have not experienced condensation where the film is applied. Due to its benefits, we decided to apply the film to the majority of our windows. In our experience, the rooms are cool during the summer, reducing the need for an air cooler. Rooms are warmer in the winter as the tinting film reflects heat into the room. This energy-saving window film is such a great choice, we highly recommend it.

Privacy but not security
Film is easy enough to apply. Is reflective from outside unless your light is on or if the person peers in e.g stands very close and cups hands around eyes. Good for day to day use. Nice to look out without feeling like passers by are looking in but is not a security thing, more of a privacy thing. U will need to close blinds at night or when out.

Very easy to install
Absolutely perfect for the job! Got a new shed and needed to cover the three windows on the road side - the instructions were very easy to follow, even I could do it and I'm not a DIY sort at all. Just clean the window, measure and cut the film, wet the window with soapy water, remove the film backing, place the film on the window and pat down, use squeegee to smooth down, and run a craft knife along the edges to remove the excess film. I got all the bubbles out easily bar the ones beneath some stray silicone (which isn't the film's fault). The film is completely opaque from the outside, and only a bit darker on the inside, which is exactly what we wanted. I might do the other windows depending on how I feel about the light quality on the inside now. I definitely recommend buying if you need some more privacy.

Not one way - black
I bought the black one, hoping that it would be one way. It's not, when the light hits the window its still see through. Such a shame. I would have given less stars just due to this, but the quality is good and its easy to apply. Just a waste of a day fitting not to get the results it stated.

Perfect
Take the time and apply as per instructions and you should have the perfect results, this has been up a year on my glass door and it keeps sunlight from damaging my materials near my door but lets in the light so it doesn’t seem dark.

You get what you pay for.
Unlike other products that come with protective film on both sides, which provides added protection against creasing, this product has only one protective side and is much thicker which makes application unnecessarily more challenging than it should be and results in a poor outcome. Visual quality once applied is poor, as it gives a mosaic/dimpled refraction. Whilst it does reduce the light and heat coming in, it reduces the outgoing view significantly unlike better quality tints.

good stuff, requires patience to set up
Perfect solution to counter growingly sunny and dry English summers. Noticable temperature drop in attic extension, protect furnitures and floorings too from the sizzling sun. Much better than any 'sticky' film those ruin your windows. Takes some patience to apply, you need a bit soapy water, and spray a LOT so can slighly manuver fit the film, easier to go from middle first then plow to sides; seller didn't provide handy board tool, lucky we have one from other purchase, gently drive away air bubble avoid damaging the film; it doesn't have to perfect right away, as days goes by tiny water bubbles tends to dissapear.

Provides good reflection but scratches easy when being applied.
Can be tricky to use as it slides when being applied with water. I used a credit card to push the water and air out from under - caution, even with a cloth on it scratches we’re apparent. Along the centre of the role ther appears to be creases where it may have been slightly bent. This is very prominent when fitted. Keeps the light out and low which is great.

We purchased a little old cottage to fix up for when we are retired. It needs a lot of work. Using the front entry for supply storage, it is messy and embarrassing. Here you can see, even right close up, you can't see through it. It's not as reflective close up as the photo appears. It's just black, like the distant photo shows. They were nice enough to send a mirror sample! I was wondering if I should have bought the mirror or the black. We did not buy the mirror because we thought it might be a visual safety hazard for people walking/driving by. It's not but imo is not as attractive as the black. However, the black does darken the room substantially more than the silver. It is incredibly easy to put up. I gave myself lots of time. My spray bottle has a bit of dettol in it but that doesn't seem to affect adherence. I learned quickly it can be too dry but cannot be too wet. I ended up spraying the window AND the sticky side of the film. Wetting both quite well allowed me to slide it around a bit and the bubbles slid out far more easily. I could also pull it off and place it on again more easily. It's not dry yet so I don't yet know how easily it will be removed after that but I'm not anticipating great difficulty. I don't see wanting to remove it any time soon. We have yet to see how cooling it is, as this small room is like a sauna during some portions of the day. There is decent visibility from inside but the silver has better in-to-out visibility. Still I can see out quite well while a person outside would not see me at all. I'm very pleased with the privacy aspect of this film!!! (The most important aspect for us.)

There is a definite trick to making this look like a professional install. Cleaning is key and a second person helping would help tremendously. My last window is considerably better than my first just because I had to figure out a technique. I'm happy with the result. It definitely helped keep the room cooler. It reflected the sun enough my floors aren't hot to the touch after installing. It did what I was wanting it to do.

Keeps house cooler. Be careful peeling off adhesive film to avoid pock marks.
