Battery register for Mini Cooper F series
Replaced my dead battery with a 80ah genuine Mini battery. You need this to register the new one. Here’s how to get it done. This is wifi not bluetooth. I used BimmerLink downloaded via Apple Store. Put your phone in airplane mode. Turnoff Bluetooth. Open Bimmerlink. Go to options and select ModBmw Enet. Click done. Plug in this adapter. Put car to On. Don’t start. Click Connect on BimmerLink. Register 12v battery. Done!! This does work well. Just tricky to get working.

Cannot connect to WiFi
Doesn’t work. Can’t connect to wifi no matter what I try. Can not use BM3 for my 340i. Connects to the car but can’t use WiFi.

Excellent
This wireless OBD adapter for my BMW F30 works exactly as it should. I leave it plugged into my BMW all the time just in case I need to do on-the-fly tuning or diagnostics. I use the MHD application to scan and tune my car and I have never had any issues with this wireless OBD adapter.

DONT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!
This item is 💩! On the obd it said “ plug in and then connect via WiFi” the password it said to use to connect did NOT WORK, it always said incorrect password, I got today and I returned that 💩 the same day!

Make sure you put your phone in Airplane mode before connecting...
Was a complete headache keeping a constant connection to this adapter via WiFi until I realized my Wifi on the phone kept jumping from the ODB dongle to my home AND OR my car's Wifi network. Also helps if you just uncheck "Automatically connect to this wifi network" on your home/car's network while you're using this device. It's a pain to have to do it this way sure, but it's not the fault of this product, it's that your phone is trying to connect to a wifi signal that has internet access instead of a device that does not. Worked perfect for Bimmercode on my 2022 Supra, it's advertised to work with xHP Transmission tunes but i'm not entirely sure how accurate that is.
