This is a loud bell. Awesome!!
This bell is excellent. I've been riding bikes for 50 years, and have tried many bells including electric. I need LOUD for my trail. The previous one I bought claimed 200 db. Noone could hear it. This bell is LOUD. I love it. I ordered another one right away.

Mounting is important ...
Exactly what I wanted ... It has a good sound that is directional (i.e. forward-facing). For those reviewers who commented that it was dull, I suspect the bell was touching one of the cables. That happened to me, so I repositioned the bell slightly and it provided a sharp, loud sound.

Heard Clearly When Approaching Pedestrians
This bike bell emits a clear and pleasing peal, and, evidently, can be heard clearly by pedestrians as I approach.

Nicely made
Nicely made. Clear and louder than my old brass bell but not as loud as the little button shaped bells. Unfortunately, the clamp would not fit over the stem where I needed to mount this. It barely fit on the handle bars but I have too many other gadgets there! The button bells have a basic steel band mount that is difficult to mount but works and is loud.This mount is nicer as a clamp with screw but again clamp too small for the stem location. Returned it but still a nice bell.

I'm very pleased with this purchase
My bike bell was delivered when promised. The video on how to install was helpful. Easy to install. It took about 5 minutes. the striker is easy to operate while riding. People walking about 30 yards ahead reacted to the sound. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Sounds loud and pretty.
Very simple bell. It doesn't need any kind of power. It has a very clear ring like a nice bell.
