Never saw a beer ingredient kit quite like this. Really not an ingredient kit at all. You simply get a small can of concentrated wort that you dilute and boil. Then ferment using the tiny pack of yeast they supply. No hops to add, no flavoring/grains...just that small can of instant beer. The difference is like having a cup of instant coffee compared to a cup of freshly brewed. I guess this would be good for a very novice beginner, but not for anyone looking to learn to brew decent beer. Not really making a craft beer with this kit. If you want to homebrew beer, get a kit from Northern Brewer or Brewers Best. A bit more money but you will be homebrewing real craft beer.After seeing what this kit is, I wanted to return, but these are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN!!!!

Big thumbs down for BrewDemon craft brew kits. I bought a couple one gallon recipes from Amazon and then checked out their web site. They had a dented can sale, so I thought I'd give it a try. Turned out, they were expired with well, it didn't say anything about that. In one case, about a year and a half expired. The cans from Amazon had expiration dates 18 months into the future. So the company was selling really old cans. Then find out, they all required companion cans that were not included. I was already well into brewing three different batches before all the problems surfaced. Had to throw everything away. Hoping the Amazon purchases are ok but don't think I'll every purchase from the company again.
