Great for costume prop making!
I really enjoyed using this clay. It's like silk clay. I used water to keep it soft while moulding it and to stick bits together but it was helpful that it dried fast. It's nice and light so good for making props for costumes. I used foil as a base for my (limbless) Kakamora hats (from Moana) and then acrylic paint to finish it off. I'm really proud of the result!

Nothing quite like it
Fascinating stuff. First the bad news- dried foam clay will dissolve if it gets wet, shrinks as it dries and can slump under its own weight. Actually, none of these issues are deal breakers for me because I can allow for them. Good news? I can't think of anything that is so safe, clean and user friendly. This unique sculptable clay dries into a form of rubber that you can paint. Delicate features can be sculpted which won't easily break. The result is durable and relatively permanent.

Not really clay but good for certain projects.
It was easy to use and not terrible for the price but its more a foam than clay and it doesn’t dry solid. There is still a kind of spongy element to it. I wasn’t a fan of the feel of it and you need to really kneed it well before using to get rid of the bubbly texture. We used it to make Christmas tree decorations so the fact it doesn’t try hard like clay is actually useful

A crafter's dream
This stuff is so versatile and the effects are brilliant. You can create awesome designs and with a little bit of water you can remould before it fully dries. I would advise adding some structure support for bigger pieces, for example if you were making a tusk, make a tinfoil tusk and then add a layer foam clay on top, and then you can carve details.
