The Atlantic Years 1984-1991 [Limited Edition Box Set]

Brilliant I love it

5 disc box set from Ratt containing the first 5 albums.I've read online that they disc's have been remastered by Andy Pearce but there is no mention of this on the box or the individual cd's but i can tell you the sound quality is exceptional.The 5 disc's come in individual digi pak sleeves but unlike the recent Motley Crue box,ther is no bookley and unlike the other Ratt box set there are no bonus tracks but the sound quality , for me, compensates for this.The reason i dock 1 star is simply because,the label has missed an oppurtunity here, 'Atlantic' bought the rights to the bands 'Mini ' album from '83,they really should have included them in this set.The discs come housed in a neat sturdy slipcase.

The new vinyl remastering is great, and if you're a fan of these albums you will not be disappointed. However, there is a caveat to this. Overall, the Box Set packaging and extras are of great quality, but Atlantic Records has chosen to keep the records "safe" in non-anti-static inner paper sleeves. Every record was covered in paper dust particles and were unplayable out-of-the-box. I had to clean all of them, but as I don't have anything to Deep-Clean my vinyl, there was still an unforgivable level of clicks and pops while playing them. Be prepared for some extensive cleaning if you buy this vinyl Box Set.Edit: I also bought the CD Box Set for this release, but Amazon isn't separating the reviews for each edition, so I can't do a separate review for it.The 2023 CD Box Set gets 4 and a half stars. The new remastering is excellent and the albums are in decent-quality Digipacks. It loses half a star as there are no lyric booklets included with any of the albums. This new 'The Atlantic Years' Box Set is a vast improvement over the 2020 'Atlantic Years' Box Set released on Cherry Red Records, so make sure you don't get them confused.

RATT breaks out of the cellar and into the spotlight with these fantastic remastered discs. Buy it!

Ratt es en mi opinion una de las mejores bandas de los 80's, su musica marcó epoca y este boxset esta a su altura, es una maravilla.Los vinilos se escuchan muy bien y el boxset trae muchas cosas adicionales que le dan un super plus.Lo recomiendo ampliamente

Es ist eine wunderbar aufgemachte, hochwertige Box mit viel Zubehör.Speziell das Fotobuch ist sehr schön gemacht.Ich habe mir zusätzlich noch die CD-Box gegönnt und muß allen Vinyl-Liebhabern mitteilen, daß der Sound der CD`s um Klassen besser ist als auf Vinyl.....das Vinyl zum anschauen und "schwelgen" - aber zum anhören unbedingt die CD`s.Megageiler Remaster.

Si eres fanático de RATT debés tener está colección..los LP remasterizados con una excelente calidad de sonido..todo llegó en perfectas condiciones..el box set dentro de otra caja... punto positivo para Amazon.. súper contento con mi compra!!!.. ahora voy por DOKKEN y MOTLEY CRUE ! 😉
