I have some significant sleep disorders, so a product to help one sleep has to make a significant difference before I will recommend it. I tried an air conditioner in my bedroom. That worked but proved expensive. I tried the noise generator on my iPhone, but that will shut itself off for various reasons. I tried a fan, but it's just not loud enough. Finally, I tried this LectroFan EVO, and it solved all the problems I just mentioned. Plus, it is loud enough that it even helps me sleep when my kids have their friends over enjoying the fire pit right under my bedroom window. I am so grateful that this product works reliably, flawlessly, inexpensively, and effectively that I'm tempted to buy one for every friend who has sleep issues.

I’ve used fan white noise machines before but you have to be careful not to cover them (clothes etc) because they heat up, plus the rocker switches are not as reliable long term. This unit has many options for white, grey, black noise and is recommended

This fan sound machine is AMAZING. My whole life I have slept with a bully, ugly standing fan. I cannot sleep without the sound. I saw this and bought it refurbished for half off. The sound machine has so many fan options, noise levels, is small enough to sit on a night stand, and is easy to travel with. I’ll never go back to another fan option.

The media could not be loaded. Compact size is nice, multiple sound systems, and volume controls, also... Plug in wall outlet or usb port on computer.I wished it to even get louder, for when my neighbor wants to get buck wild.Overall, its a nice system.

I didn't believe it before I bought it, but it really does sound like a real fan. It's vastly superior to any sound looping app or cheap noise machine. Its been keeping my newborn asleep for 3 months now and even has the added bonus of keeping the dog from hearing the mailman or other outside noise at night.

I tried several phone apps for white noise to mask my partner's snoring, but they didn't cut it. This device has more dynamic range, probably because it is basically a speaker. It takes a little getting used to where all the various buttons are, but I can now reach over in the dark to turn it on, adjust the volume, choose a different setting, etc. I especially like the count down timer that gradually reduces the volume until it shuts off. It's so subtle that it never wakes me up with an abrupt volume level change.

It has quit making sound at all after only 2 months.

Worked well for what it is. If you don't know what "noise" you like, it has a variety of sounds to try. I only liked one sound. And that particular one was available on a free app. Also, while this device is small, my cell phone is easier to travel with. So, I ended up returning this machine.
