Blade Bath- Extendes Razor Life by 3 to 4 times normal!

With the high cost of razors, this product from Foster and Lake is of a kind product for prolonging the life of your razor. Stops corrosion on the blades and my razors are staying sharp. All i do is deep it in the liquid after a shave and rinse it with hot water before i use it again. Very happy with my purchase

Blade wash does not go well with any blade with a moisture strip, doesn't rinse out completely. I found out the hard way the strong earthy scent of the blade wash is unpleasant, but tolerable. Not tolerable was the result of blade wash left behind after I rinsed thoroughly, yet not quite enough. Absolutely Uncomfortable pain, acute Burning sensations where blade touched my skin, which was instant, intense pain and irritation, with red blotches over the surface of my skin that lasted for hours. On the Up Side the Blade Wash does keep blade fresh and sharp, in my opinion the risk is not worth the reward.

Foster and Lake - Blade Bath, 6 fl oz - Increase Razor Blade Life. This solution simply greases up the blade so it will glide over skin & hair easily like a shaving cream for the blade. It won't create a sharper blade. It will keep a blade sharper longer because the blade doesn't have to work as hard swiping several times. In that regard it will improve the longevity of a blade. 3 stars. A little bit of a reach in advertising in my opinion. 3 stars.

So far this seems to be working. I'm getting about an extra week from razors which more than pays for the oil.

Cinnamon Leaf Oil I can definitely smell these oils when opening the flip top cap of this product! It is a strong scent but not overpowering! The directions are clearly printed, on the back label of the bottle. It has a couple of different ways to use the oil that I think are all easy steps. A. Submerge razor into 4 teaspoons of the oils and leave until next use. OR B. Submerge razor, remove from oil, tap off gently any excess oil and store until next use. I opted to follow B just because it's easier for me personally to store my razor out of a cup of oil. It's stated this product can extend the life of any razor blade by 3 to 4 times. So, I have often used a baby oil product to store my razors in or to lubricate them after shaving because my home has hard water which is harmful to my metal blades. However, I have been using BLADE BATH instead and I think this is what I prefer for future razor blades. The mixture of the oils seems to keep my razor blades from getting dull so quickly. I can shave using the same razor more times. I have also noticed that since using this product my razor blades do not rust or hold shiw the hard water deposits as much. I really like this product and will continue to bath my blades in BLADE BATH! Yes! I definitely recommend this product and have since ordered more bottles as gifts for others.

It makes my blade feel really greasy/slimy but really doesn't seem to do anything to help the blade last longer. I find I still have to replace them roughly as frequently. Dealing with a slightly duller shave is far more effective in stretching the longevity of razor blades.
