Makes planning your workouts easy!
I was spending too much time agonizing over what workouts to do and not enough time actually doing it. The decision fatigue was real and made me want to avoid the whole thing. This journal simplifies things by giving you exactly what to do and provides space to list your previous best so that you continue to improve with each workout. I look forward to working out now. I can just open the book and the workout for the day is already planned out for me. There is also a QR code that links to videos and descriptions of each exercise so that you know exactly what to do. Highly recommend!

Book was what I needed
This book was what I needed in my fitness journey. I needed something to guide my workouts at home that was uncomplicated. All I needed was my dumbbells. The book celebrates milestones and helps you start a weight training habit.

Great, easy substitute for a personal trainer at home
I am no longer going to personal training sessions, but want to continue my strength training at home. I am not yet at the point of being able to create my own workout programs and, while there are a ton of great YouTube videos, that seemed overwhelming. This book is simple - all I need to do is show up for myself a few times a week, open to a workout and complete the exercises. Each workout in the journal is linked to online instruction, which I found helpful to refresh my memory of a technique or learn something new. I also like that I can log my reps and weights right on the workout page. Overall, I am doing really well with this approach to my home strength training and I like it so much that I just ordered the stretching book. My only caution is that some of the exercises are done on a bench and I did not have a bench at first - I ended up purchasing a low cost one from Amazon and I'm glad I did.

Great start!
Solid workout plan and information for dumbbell. Hoping they release a v2 with more variety as I have worked through 3 of these already and starting to plateau.

Excellent workout guide
Absolutely love the ease of just following along to the pre-written daily programs. It explains which muscles you’re working and has suggestions for weights/reps. Highly recommend!

Tiny, light print
I haven't started using the journal yet, but am excited to. My initial impression, though, is that it is going to be hard to use if you aren't in a well-lit room. The writing on the workout pages is tiny, and pale grey. I don't need reading glasses yet, but this journal may require me picking up a pair. Another complaint is that it says you need dumbbells only. In actuality, though, you will need a workout bench that inclines and has a backrest, and a "preacher bench". I wish that the book gave alternatives if you don't have those. There is a complete description of each exercise at the back of the journal. It would be nice to have the page number listed on the workout pages in the front telling you exactly where to find the instructions in the back so you aren't searching. I also wish it gave modifications for exercises to make them easier on the knees or appropriate for ppl with back problems. Doesn't need to be extensive, but would be helpful. Finally, I wish there was some guidance as to how much weight to start with. I understand choosing something that you can complete the reps with good form, but give me a starting point. If nothing else, "of your three weights, choose your medium for this exercise." I assume I'll figure it out eventually for each exercise, but it would be nice to have a guesstimate.

Great Workout Journal for At-Home!
I love this workout journal! Makes it easy to do a good workout at home - no excuses! The workout plan is very clear. I really liked the reading in the beginning to help set my mind right, and I like how it has little “check-ins” throughout the journal. I use this four times a week and each day takes me approximately 45 minutes to complete. The layout, design and plan is all really great. I look forward to completing this journal and then getting another one and increasing my weights as I go!
