Bought this for my daughter to use with her math curriculum as visuals. It's great. The pieces are solid plastic and easy to use for math. The dry erase place value board is huge, making it big enough to write # and have her place the base ten blocks parts on to represent the #. We keep everything in the box, and it's held up just fine. Even to my toddler who loves playing and building with them.

I ordered, I received. As a former teacher cuisinaire rods make math visible, tactile and understandable from a base 10 perspective. Through simple use, games and problem solving, they open up many AH HA moments in a field of what was once abstractions.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Everything you need in a good base 10 set for an excellent price. I love the color coordination with the problems and base values. Box is sturdy enough to store and reuse which was my main concern. For everything that’s included, the adhesive color coordination (huge plus) and the box stability for storage it’s the best set you’ll find.

The bars, cubes are of good quality but only one mistake, some of the cards have Spelling mistake instead of dice it's written DIE.

It's a multi-functional kit that I have used to teach concepts for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. The pieces are tough and stand up to constant use.
